Getting your man up into the air is always better than shoot over him... Yao's so tall, so his defender has the tendancy to jump if trying to block his shots. That's a huge advantage for Yao.

Since both teams have good defense, expecting a low scoring game. I hope our "Big 3" will be playing the way they are capable to play. It is time in the season to get themself on the same page.

    85-80, Rox win.

BTW, don't expect Yao getting a lot rebounds, hornets will shoot a lot of outside jumpers, those long rebounds will fall into our guards' heads.

The key is containing Baron Davis. If we can keep him cool, and this goes back to the whole "is SF a good defender bit", then we'll have a great chance of stealing one from NO. I imagine that since Baron Davis is already a marquee guard, SF will be up to play him. Let's just hope SF doesn't get TOO involved in one-on-one against Davis and forgets the rest of the team.

I foresee the Rockets playing looser just like they did against Utah.

    :D

I'd be shocked if the rockets can pull a win out of this game.

that's ridiculous. the rockets are at least as good as the hornets. their best or second best player (mashburn) isn't even playing.

we can't be really talented teams because we have bad chemistry, but teams with mediocre talent we CAN beat.

    Rox will win this one.

(8:51) [HOU] Cato Substitution replaced by Ming

You scared me to death! Van Gundy just want to rest him for some minutes.

Yao is a terrible rebounder. He allowed the Hornets to get many second chance points. He'll never average more than 10 rebounds a game.

Can someone tell be why Yao gets in for a couple of minutes and gets out for a few minutes after that then gets in a minute later then gets out again? That's a great way to distrupted a player's rhythm.

So far this season, he is pretty close to average 10 rb/game. But he need to get better.

Why did Cato take 6 shots while Yao only took 3? Are we repeating last season and decided again not to use Yao?
