Is it just me or does it really look like Tracy and Yao are learning how to play with each other all over again? Lots of times when they are on the court together, each seems to be tentative and unsure as to which one of them is supposed to 'take charge' of the situation, so to speak..My apologies for not being able to explain it in a more 'technical' way.

tmac's play is too tentative right now, and he just sucked yesterday....but you do realize that tmac draws double and triple teams every play and odom doesnt...right?

Yao is not going to score 40 with odom , i assure you ;)

I agree. I am upset by the loss, but I was pissed when we lost to the Jazz. At least they showed some effort in this game, we lost mostly because Yao got into foul trouble early, and we missed too many open shots.

We needed T-Mac to have a good game to win this one, and he didn't.........

I think that JVG will go on experimenting with line ups till the All Star Game!
After which he realizes that Novak is really a great three point shooter, V span is just what the Rockets need and we are desperate for a decent Power Forward.
By this time Tracy will be more confident and found his touch and Bonzi will have lost weight and found his game again. In the second half the Rockets are the hottest team and make the playoffs. We do very well but Les decides that he has had enough of JVG BB and sends him packing.
Next season Bonzi signs with the Rox and we win the NBA Championships under new Coach -----.

Hey Blazer, have you ever played real Ball? And no, I don't mean playing on your PS2. Are you implying that I'm a YOF? What if I am? What is it to you TOF? I'm sick and tired of all these TOFs giving TMAC all the excuses in the world, and it's time that someone calls him out.

All this talk about Tmac, but I don't think Yao played well tonight either. Took himself out of the game with early foul trouble, and his decision making when the double team came was slow and tentitive. He just didn't seem as confident tonight as he did in the Dallas game. Im a huge Yao fan, but I expect better.

JVG should have played Yao in 2nd quarter and shouldn't have left Wells in 4th quarter for so long.
I knew Yao had 3 fouls, but it's not good for Rockets when he sit on the bench either. There is just no other who can backup Yao on both ends. It turned out that Yao started with 3 fouls and finished with 3 fouls, but only 27 minutes.

As for Wells, he's obviously not in game shape yet, and Wells, Yao and Tmac on the court same time allowed NO just stay under basket.

Im a huge TMac fan and i havent provided 1 excuse. Tracy has played terrible so far. He had 9 assists and 3 stls against the Jazz. Thats all he has done so far this season.

tmac will get there, I don't worry about his shooting, but I am really concerned with his back, I have a feeling it still bothers him...

Yaoza should not make those cheap fouls, he has been in the NBA 5/6 years, he should know....If he played more, we would have won this game

another of my concerns is coaching...sometimes I really think JVG is on crack...

we need more passion, not dead guys on the floor

besides yao and hayes, and maybe kirk, everyone else needs to step up their feelings about the game

Battier needs to make those threes at the end, he missed like 3 or 4 in a row..

Inconsistency is the Rockets middle name right now. They need to play with the same intensity level in each game. Our defense has holes in it from time to time and thats why NOK went on a huge run in the 4th. If we can tighten up our D, and let Yao and Tmac control the offense, we will be fine. But until that defense doesn't buckle down, we're not getting anywhere.

This is what bothers me the most. They don't seem to know how to play together. Remember the P-n-R between the two in the Mavs series two years ago? That was unstoppable. But it is so strange to me that it has rarely been used really...almost seems to me it was coach's intention. Just why

If we had Jerry Sloan as our coach we wouldn't even be having this discussion.
