    The new and imporved Rockets....

    If we can run Adelman's O anywhere near like Sacramento did a few years ago, I will be very happy.

    I just remember earlier this decade whenever we played Adelman's Kings, home or away, the game was usually over by halftime...It will be nice to be on the giving end of beatdowns like that.

    It's time.....

    I'm interested to see how Stevie does in this new 'read and react' offense. Given his history of having a low BB IQ, I'm wondering it he will flow smoothly in the offense or just dribble away not knowing what to do next.

    I'm hoping for the former. I really hope this year's go-around with the Rox turns out better than the last one.

    just occured to me that some new members may not realize what chat Clutch referred to in his intial post.

    during games we *normally* have people that type the play by play, so if you come in and see that happening, dont try to start a conversation, wait till the action stops.

    and since this is the official chatroom, there are some rules.

    Cussing is not permitted, Clutch wants the channel to be PG13, so act accordingly.

    excessive chatting ( chatter other than directly related to the game action) during pbp is not allowed, some folks dont have access to the game any other way and need that pbp.

    basically, try to act like adults and you might find you enjoy the real time interaction with your fellow clutchfans.

    You know, I had been trying not to pay attention to preseason dates because I agonize waiting for it to start. I was completely surprised to find that the first pre-season game is TONIGHT!

    I am so amped! I can't wait! It's about time for some more Rockets basketball and I can't wait to see our new squad with our new coach! I don't care if we win, but I do hope that guys like Scola, Bonzi Wells, Steve Francis and Mike James look good. I'm interested in seeing Brooks and Butler too.

    I keep double checking the date for these posts to make sure i'm on the right schedule... after a long off season the excitement has been known to throw my brain off its tracks... I went to open practice a week early last off season :eek:
