    Agreed.

Not sure why some claiming his inability to score is a good thing btw.

All the great PG's, Isiah, Magic, Payton, Big O, Kidd, CP3, Rose etc had 20+ PPG seasons. Stockton & Nash (50/40/90 shooter) were the only real exceptions to the rule.

He got a $25m contract for 10 great games & 10 mediocre ones. His story sucks.

You make very good points and I tend to agree with you on most things. I guess my expectation are calibrated a little higher (but nothing ridiculous). Just asking for him to take/make open shots - because as you say it spreads the floor and makes the defense honest. He just needs to shoot well enough for the defense to respect his shot. Just not seeing that in the past few games. I'm pretty sure he'll do better and yea it's prob a slump. But that doesn't change the fact that I'm a bit disappointed.

Granted, a bit of an overreaction today from me.

So you wanted the entire league to ignore what he accomplished and award him $0 or a league minimum contract. Got it, you hate asians.

If his knee is hurting or an issue it wouldn't make sense that he'd be playing this many minutes in a preseason game that doesn't count. Why would he exacerbate the condition?

If the knee really is a problem he's being stupid and the training staff is also incompetent to let him play such minutes or play at all if he's visibly limping.

Oh he's fine. Just that one drive when he finished that "circus shot"/difficulty degree: 12 out of 10 - minimal contact from Lopez while in the air. Limped for like 5 seconds.

Just the way he moved when walking to the bench, there was a slight limp. It was definitely noticeable. I think he doesn't want to let down his coaches/teammates and is telling them it is fine when it is obviously still bothering him.

I agree. While they may not always tell the media everything, one would think Lin would at least be honest with McHale and the training staff. Besides, this was just a pre-season game, there was no point in toughing thru pain just to win the game.

He was visibly limping (at least according to the commentator calling the game) though. Perhaps it was right after a fall and he was just walking/shaking it off.
