So you can't be a superstar until you play at superstar level for four full seasons? Silly.

The sample size is still a bit small, but you have to consider that he was already playing at an all star level last season with OKC.

Actually, they sold the team to Tom Benson last season. But the way these officials are calling the game it sure seems like the league still owns them.

the thing lin and harden and the other passes of the team need to understand is that asik can't catch hard passes. they need to understand when its a better chance to just take the ball up themselves instead of risking a 50% chance of a turnover by throwing a tough pass to asik. i think 2 pat can catch some passes but theres been way too many times lin and harden have thrown passes to asik that were out of his league.

I don't smoke. 34 games is not enough to justify one being a superstar. Never

Some of you are pretty full of it, as if every Lin pass to Asik is right on target and Lin only gets the TO because Asik fumbles it. I've seen plenty of hard passes to Asik's back side that most certainly were not Asik's fault. Im sure that the Asian Lin fanatics need a scapegoat for the fizzling out of Linsanity, so it's all good. .

I normally don't get worked up over home cooking calls. It's just the way it is, the home team gets more 50/50 calls for various reasons. Good for franchises, and no ref wants to stay be in a city where the fans hate them. Staying in hotels and going to restaurants would suck if you didn't give more 50/50 calls.

However, blatant bad calls are a whole other ball of wax. It was really sad watching the Homer NO commentator trying to justify to terrible miscalls to the ex-player commentator.

"How can that not be a call?"
    "Maybe he lost his balance..."
"But he clearly moved his knees to push him off balance..."
"But the Hornets have the ball..."

Me too. I don't like conspiracy's but this team is supposed to beat us according to Vegas is what I heard. These reffs got money on the Hornets tonight.

Forget the turnovers, it's part of the rockets DNA. They end up hustling more to make up for their newb mistakes which creates more points and tighter D.

More like every sport is run by Vegas.

FYI: the spread tonight was only Rockets -3 against the Hornets after ther Rockets won 8 of their last 10 games coming off a win against the Lakers.

I'm wondering the same thing? I wouldn't be surprise if Lin has more blocks than Asik.

Lin should make the high percentage play. If its not a clean, easy pass to Asik, then that's not a high percentage play.

so what else does he have to prove? Is it early? Yes, but he has shown consistency in the games, an ability to score at will, create his own basket, ISO over opposing players, hit with a high level of efficiency, gets high #s of asssists, and is carrying a rockets team that is the youngest in the league, inexperienced, and one that noone gave a chance to succeed this year.

Could I wait and see if he leads them to the playoffs? Wins a series? What will it take? I think the body of work he has shown, the moves, etc qualifies him. You can't say his progress has been a fluke--he's been elite pretty much every single game. Yes, he needs to improve his D but that will come
