    Ariza is just not a smart player. Why does he insist on dribbling into a crowd with no possibility for an outlet pass?

    Rushing shots?

    2 out of the last 4 possessions they had either a shot clock turnover or a near shot clock turnover.

    Ariza got stuck on the baseline on one play.

    On the other, he threw a pass that Paul deflected into the backcourt. Brooks hustled to beat Paul to the ball and was forced to shoot a 40-foot shot to beat the clock.

    One of the other plays, Scola posted up and missed towards the end of the shot clock.

    I'd say it was the opposite of rushing shots. They weren't aggressive enough and were getting bad shots off or no shots at all.

    God Ariza is awful with the ball, he's so unsure handling the ball most the time and just stops his dribble and gets trapped.

    Also causes him to throw awful passes.

    Gotta get better defensively in the second half. It's been good so far,but we can't let them come back quickly. If we do,they will get frustrated,and lead to easy baskets.
    Ariza shooting smoothly so far. Looks more relaxed. A good sign without a doubt.

    As soon as Paul went on the attack Rockets rushed shots the other way, thereby ensuring Hornets get to ride their 2nd wind and keep at it.

    After sprinting back and forth and allowing the Hornets to score, of course the Rockets are then stunned and winded and the Hornets motivated on D b/c they smell blood
