Trapping Lin is easier than that. Opponents don't need to go that route because Lin is not a traditional PG with the ball in his hands all game long.

There is effectively no "second unit" since they always have at least Lebron or Wade out there, and one of them is going to double him just like Wade did.

No, in the end Lin has to adjust when playing the Heat. He won't get foul calls most of the time. It's a bit shocking that Harden is getting as many calls as he's getting right now but I think being in the All Star game is helping him.

I watch a lot of basketball and you see the same thing in Miami every time a visiting team goes in. The calls in the Knicks vs Miami first round play offs were ridiculous. The regular season games were the same.

The way Lin has to adjust is he just has to literally drive into the Heat players and expect to get smacked hard. The refs aren't going to call it any other way.

2 simple things would help Lin a lot tonight: Keep the ball moving, and don't pick up your dribble.

    His left hand is improved.

He need to Pass to the open man asap...once he aware here is a trap....
other teammates should shout it loud!

once he can make the first pass....heat defense will be broken.

Douglas and Andersen looked pretty smooth together, didn't they? I like Douglas a lot, but "smooth" doesn't often come to mind.

very true....but as hot as Lin is capable of getting, you really dont need to have wade or lebron to shake him...send two defenders at him and he seems to try and dribble through traffic at no avail....or pick up the ball in a compromising part of the court.

Lin dribbles in one place too long, which allows defenses to key in on him. He needs to keep moving.

Guys, serious question, is Harden held accountable at all?? McHale preaches ball movement a lot and complains about the ball getting sticky which is mainly Harden's fault but he keeps doing it.

Heat is a good defensive team. Wade and LeRoids are good defenders.

lol can you imagine if they played the same D on TD that they played on Lin? It would be just as bad. This is the same Heat's defense that kept D.Rose to like 7 points in one game. They shut down a lot of good PGs. Lin is going to be a non-factor this game because of the
attention their giving Lin. They guard him really hard, if you watch they play him real rough up close every time Lin goes for PnR. The heat are good at stoppping the PnR. Even when Harden is running it.
