Tough game loss. Tough to lose CP. Losing the battle of the rebounds 61-40!!!! and 20-8 on the offensive glass is brutal. I get that there were tired legs on a B2B but c'mon! Another SOFT game for Capela against a physical front court. Buckle up for the Thunder game on Xmas day when Adams pounds Capela into dust. The EG shot to win the game was a good one. That is all you can ask for TBH. Sure I wanted it to go in, but at least it was a clean look and not some prayer shot. Harden has been playing unbelievably. I didn't even thing the Rockets would be put in position TO HAVE A CHANCE to win this game. But Harden kept them close. Harden is going to be playing 40+ minutes every game now with CP out. Ugh.
Lol people act like we have a better shot not having CP3 and fleshing our the roster with......Beverly and Harrell? Superstars win chips. We’re better off sneaking into the playoffs with a healthyish CP3 than a 3-5 seed with just Harden and Co. I don’t get why this is so hard for people to understand.
Before this game I was hopeful that the Rockets were on the right track. Maybe they'd finally show up and take care of business against sub-par Eastern Conference competition. Nope. The mediocrity continues. Just a poor effort tonight, the Heat are missing like 3 starter level players. This should have been an comfortable win even without CP3. The Rockets' inability to beat sub-.500 teams has plagued them all season, and is indicative of their poor preparation, approach and mental state they've exhibited all season. Now, the schedule gets tough and looks like we won't have CP3 for that stretch. Not good.

Clearly our boys were tired. Big time props for fighting until the very end. The 3rd quarter disaster is what cost us this game.
