RA needs to shake up the rotations, enough of the current rotations. Is Jason Kidd really being shopped around by New Jersey? What can the Rockets give up to get him?

The only problem is why the other GM will do it.

Not every GM is as dumb as the Timberwolves GM.

It was ALL ADELMAN. Adelman insisted on putting Yao at the elbow and wouldn't let him post up. Seeing that their coach wasn't really insistent on them feeding Yao, the guards did their own thing and jacked up their own bricks instead of feeding Yao. Yao did fine with the ball... if he could get it in a position to score i.e. THE LOW POST.

Adelman as Rockets coach is a miserable failure. The Rockets made a big mistake. Adelman probably bamboozled Alexander by promising he'd run an entertaining offense than JVG or some other such tripe. Oh wait... the offense is no better, Yao isn't seeing the ball, McGrady isn't getting good looks, and our defense blows. I wish JVG could have just jumped out of the commentating booth and went right back on the sideline.

again, we WERE 6-1 at one stretch.

so i wouldn't panic now. like i said, the 04-05 team when tmac first came here was very average in the first 2-3 months. that team steamrolled into the playoffs just before the all-star break.

    i don't judge a coach by 13 games. i don't judge him by 20 games. i judge him by the all-star break.

the only thing i worry about is we might cost ourselves a high seed w/ all these adjustments.

Coaches DO tell a player what to do and where to stand. They also coach defense.

Yao at the elbow is ridiculous. Adelman completely abandoned Yao's low post game tonight and treated him like Brad Miller. Total BS. We also played no defense, surrendered 55% from the field, and allowed open jumper after open jumper. Some of those jumpers I probably could have made. A complete and utter failure of coaching.

At least Scola's progress makes me feel better. He and Mike should never play together though. Mike ignores him like he would ignore Juwan if he was on the team. Scola should have walked up to him and whacked him upside the head after some of the plays i saw today.

It's time for Les or Morey to step in and slap Adelman in the back of the head. Change the rotation idiot! You couldn't win with this group last year! Several teams have gotten better! Losing to the garbage Heat didn't learn you! Or are you just the most stubborn or dumbest coach in the history if the Rockets, make a move now or I guaran-dam-tee you will be back in Portland this time next year "retired" again. And all you supposed "die-hards" stop making excuses for this crap of a rotation! If you honestly believe that Rafer, Hayes, Bonzi, and Head should be getting significant p.t., you obviously like losing basketball games.

It's obviously broke, so fix it!

The key word is WERE. We are not. We've lost 6 in a row. We haven't looked good at all this season. We may enter the All Star Break 10 games under .500. We are playing like a lottery team right now.

in my memory didn't remember Rox had 6 game losing streak. Now things are ugly in Htown. RA definitely deserves blame.

What other coach was out there besides RA that really could have improved the team?

    We've been 0-6 since then.

It's not just the losing streak, it's how we've lost all the games the same way. Some other things may change from game to game, but our lack of defense has become a constant. The opposing jump shooters are so open I might make a shot in the same position. We don't even bother to run out and contest anymore. We give games away in the 4th quarter, where coaches make their money by getting their players to execute good plays and get good shots up; this has not happened in crunch time. Consistent crunch-time failure reflects more on the coach than the players. Yao at the elbow is completely bunk, yet Adelman keeps going to it, especially tonight where he barely let Yao post up at all. McGrady is still jacking up the same shots as usual and has cooled down dramatically since his hot start.

This guy is exhibiting all of the characteristics of a bad coach; poor team defensive play, persistent failure in crunch-time, and misusage of players, especially his star players.

i understand. adelman is definitely on the hot seat now if he doesn't ATTEMPT to make any changes to this rotation or do something different.

we brought him here to provide something new to this team. scola wasn't his acquisition and scola would have done fine under JVG.

so again, i'm patient as i can possibly be. but if this slide continues, then yes, adelman might get fired very soon.

there's a reason les and the organization chooses the slogan, "IT'S TIME."

    it's not time to get a #1 pick, that's all i know.

I don't think RA will be fired that early in the season. Who will the Rockets turn to if they do fire RA?

I think Larry Brown is out of work and he probably wants to get back into coaching. Former Coach of the Year Rick Carlisle is out there also.
