That only worked in JVG system where Head wasn't asked to do much of anything early on in the season besides hit the three. In this system he has to dribble and pass, two things he sucks at.
all in all decent first half. i'd love to see the rox start the second half on a run and knock the heat back on thier heals, like they did to us atr the start of the game.

tmac looked to drive almost every play except for the occassional heat checks that he threw up (or that 2-for-1). he's unstoppable on isos at the baseline or elbows. i agree, yao needs to get the ball more. what's the point of having yao there if you're not going to let him touch the ball. i think the reason is when he gets the ball an gets doubled, rafer will shoot (ugg). w/ tmac, if u iso him at the elbow or baseline, it's harder to double him. but man, rafer HAS GOT TO GO. PLEASE jon feign or blinebury or some chron reporter please ask adelman this question in post-game conferences: "how can u start a guy who never gets guarded and still airball a shot? can a supposed out of shape steve be that much worse?" god damn
Adelman is ENTIRELY to blame. He is putting Yao at the elbow and exclusively going to McGrady. He must see Yao vs. Shaq and immediately conclude that Yao can't get it done. STUPID STUPID STUPID move.
