Look at Yao's #'s so far this year.

He's going for the MVP award

Great game by the Rox showing off that killer D to go along w/ some outstanding Offense!

any updates on Chuck Hayes' injury?
He's a big part of the chemistry and I hope he comes back soon.

The sportradio 610 said he is doubtful for the Tuesday's game.

    It's Eddy Curry :)
Explaination: Eddy was so upset after being destroyed by Ming during their matchup. Now after Ming beats Shaq so badly, don't you think Eddy will be so released and even feel high :)

Awesome news! It looks like this may be a 2-3 week type of injury, like a sprained ankle or something, when it looked season ending on the replay!!! :(

Things happen for a reason, maybe this will give a chance for Novak to shine, Juwan to prove he can still contribute, and Wells to get his ass off the bench!

"When Mac is attacking, he's as good a playmaker as there is in the league," Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy said. "I don't know how he sees what he sees, but I'm sure glad he sees what he sees because I can't see what he sees."

    ======================================================

"He's still pretty much the same," said O'Neal, who had 15 points and 10 rebounds. "He hit a lot of tough shots tonight, and when you're playing against a guy like that, 7-6, 7-8, you're not going to block his shot."

Ever prideful, O'Neal said he paid no mind to the Rockets' declaration that Yao is the NBA's best center.

"It really doesn't motivate me," he said.

Miami's Dwyane Wade, who made eight of 22 shots for his customary 24 points, said, "We know who the best center in the league is."

Oh man! If even pointedly jabbing at O'Neal doesn't motivate him, what will? Has Grandpa finally lost his focus?

Id just like to say... if it hasnt been said yet...

with all this man loving going on for Yao...

Kudos should be given to all the other guys on the team doing their part...even if it was out of the spot light...

from guys like Tmac... being the playmaker rather then taking a shot...

to guys like Bat and Chuck hustling and taking charges...

to even guys like Howard willing to sit on the bench and come out to play what ever minutes he gets...

without these guys making sacrifices...this would not be team...and we would not be winning...

Wow! Yeah Wade, he really proved it last night too! And don't give me any of this "its just an early regular season game" BS either, they went out on that court to WIN the same way we did...

Sour grapes, I expected more from him than that, very disapointing...

And then you have Yao, who after kicking Shaq's ass all nite, still digresses to him in his post-game comments. We can all learn a lesson in humility from this future MVP...

great win for the Rox last nite, with yao playing like this the Rocket will be hard to beat. However, I am concerned about Tmac. This is a big week coming up, the Rockets will need tmac to step it up.

I hope Hayes comes back quick. His cutting to the basket and rebounding is something that will be missed. When I first saw it on replay, I just thought they banged knees and it was a deep bruise. But then the report came out of it being hyperestended. Matt Bullard kept saying it might be season ending before he even knew anythign. WTF dude, if you don't know , stop guessing and scaring the hell out of us.
Oh MY GOD, can somebody pleasea get Clyde off the air!!! He is almost as bad as Shannon Sharpe as a sports/game analyst (and I'm saying this eventhough I am a DIE HARD BRONCOS FAN. The dude can play football, but he can't talk worth crap and he doesn't look that pretty either). I think Bullard does a mutch better job and I don't understand why they can't just use Worrell and Bullard for home and away games. It was so bad last night, I changed to ESPN instead but quickly changed backk when all I heard was Tim Legler disecting the BCS and making his picks for the title game. What THE HELL. If I wanted to hear about the BCS, I'll watch Kirk Hirbstreet or Lee Corso. NOt during my rockets game!!!!

Anyways, great win. Tracy played awsome in the 4th. He is passing the ball better than I have ever seen. Everybody else sees it, i don't know why he doesn't. Drive to the basket and you make this team unbeatable. Just driving and dishing is deadly when you have outside shooter and Yao in the middle. Its painful seeing TMAC trying to shoot from teh outside. I hope he figures it out soon. Can't wil till Tuesday's game when we whupp up on the spurs!!

I don't if it was posted but did anyone find out who gave Yao those scratches. If it was Shaq he need to clip them nails. The Rockets are getting to be a very good team. I can't wait to see the team once Bonzi and Sura if he can get back to the team.

I hope Yao doesn't get AIDS or some damn disease from the constant scratching/bleeding.

"Have you ever had a dream, Yao, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world?"

"there is a difference between the knowing the path and walking the path."

    "He's beginning to believe."

    "he is the one."

If anyone hears a medical report on Hayes please post. To me it looked like he must have torn his posterior cruciate ligament for his knee to hyperextend that far. It was reported that he had pain in the front of the knee, which would be from a bruised knee cap. Hope it's not as bad as it looked.
