OK, I don't know whee else to post this cuz it probably doesn't deserve its own thread.

I just listening to AM 740 here in Houston which is the radio news station. In listening to the hourly sports update I was hoping to hear some more about the Rockets whupping the Heat but instead I get indepth coverage of the Dynamos and Texans and the Rockets (score only) is mentioned as an afterthought. No mention of Yao's dominance or anything. I would have at least thought the Houston media would given the Rocekts more props.

R2K, where are you? I was at work so didn't watch the match. I am downloading the game video from http://davka.info/ but this feels so wrong, kinda like betraying a good friend.

    Sorry.

NBA TV recap coverage of the game:

    The Good:
Gave Yao "Player of the Night" honors
Said in highlights that the night belonged to Yao
Showed snippet of Yao interview on court at end of game
Gave the Rox game "Game of the Night" honors

    The Bad:
Intro game snippets of the show when talking about Heat v Rox showed Shaq winning opening tip and a Shaq dunk (although Yao dominated Shaq they show 2 positive Shaq plays as openers to the show???)
    Only showed 2 Yao highlites

thanks for sharing. but what's up with this? :D

great win!!! now the media doesn't have any excuses for not recognizing yao's force, wondering what they are going to say now.

The ESPN analysts were brown-nosing the Heat too much. Without Wade's insane number of free throws he got from the refs last year they probably would have gotten swept in the Finals.

We kept Wade off the line and showed everyone that the Heat suck without Wade bailing them out with free throws.

Any praise we got from Greg Anthony was given reluctantly and probably only because he did'nt want to look too much like an a-hole. Even then he nitpicked over Yao's offensive rebounding when Yao was by far the best player in the game.

For those talking about hearing all the Rockets chants...

Remember this is the game that season ticket holders got to travel with the team........I think about 500 season ticket holders went to Miami to catch this game......

That is probably why you heard all the Rockets chants.....
