How can Yao miss a dunk like that?

Guards are just abusing us. Only shots the Heat have made are layups and wide open 3's. I don't even remember them making a 15 ft. jumpshot.

for once it would've been better if yao just layed it in and instead he blows the dunk. oh well, at least he's dominating after a slow start. and the refs even figured out that he's a star and didn't whistle him for a ticky tack 3rd foul even when they had some chances to do it.

BTW, we could not make a single 3 in the first half.

another poor finished to the quarter. a missed dunk then letting wade go 40 feet in 4 seconds. that's a 4 point swing to end the quarter. that's now 11 points difference to end the 1st two quarters. we have to finish better than that.

Yeah.. there were few plays I thought Yao would sure get whistle for fouls.
I was very surprised the refs let it go.

Well, the positive sign is that yao did not pick up his third before the half time break.

Exactly. When strictly speaking of dunking at point blank range, I don't care if you've just run a marathon...if you're 7'6"+ there is no excuse for blowing it.

Anyone else notice that Yao doesn't look at the rim when he dunks that close? If you watch the replay, I think that's why he missed...he just assumed he knew where the basket was, and was wrong.

That's not an excuse. That's a legit fact. Yao was simply too tired to dunk that ball. Ok? Zo was exhausted too. Granted, he has a good excuse for that. :p

Barry hasn't looked sharp the last couple of games. Not only is he struggling with his shot, but he is turning the ball over a lot.
