unless we blow a team out (which will never happen when we can't score 90 points) we won't win any games until tmac comes back. all our opponents have to do is swarm yao down low, and make our guards beat them. that will never happen.

this will turn into a very long month.

I'd like to see what Shaq could do playing with these dumbass guards, going away from the bigman, missing wild shots, kicking it out of bounds. I don't know if it's the plan for Yao to just set picks when teams start fronting him, but we need guys to knock down shots to beat it.

This is trash @#$%$#$%^ The Roxs are the worse team in the NBA..no really they are...Alston ( skip to my CRAP !!!!) And whats up with Baryy scoring a million points the first game and not scoring jack since then...Oh well at least he hustles. I don't get Swift. He has all these moves and hes so quick yet when he shoots man its ugly.....Everyone just admit it we will not win a single game unless T-Mac is in the lineup,Thats pathetic !!!
NO CHEMISTRY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YET............I'll tune in when T-Mac comes back....I hate this feeling we get when the Roxs Lose....I need some Prozac :D

I must say, watching the game on TV is much less stressful than reading the play by play in the chat room. :D

I haven't seen people jump off the wagon like this since the last time I rolled a keg into an AA meeting.

It doesn't matter in crunch time. The Rockets guards simply CANNOT shoot the ball and giving the ball to Yao means double teams and tripple teams. This would be a little easier if the guards made shots.

Stop asking Yao to set the pick! It is totally useless. The only player Yao should set picks for is Tmac. Otherwise reserve Yao for scoring ONLY. Take him out when he is tired and put a mandate on the guards to force feed Yao when he is on the court. It is 2 options really: Yao fumble the ball 1 out of 3 times and get good chances at scoring the other 2 times; or guards brick again and again, commit 24-sec violation, or simply throw the ball away. I'd rather bet on Yao. I'd even prefer Yao to pull out for face up jumpers, considering nobody else can get a good look or make an shot.

Juwon Howard needs to learn how to get a defensive rebound. He gave up two offensive rebounds off of his man in last 2 mins of game. :(

When the Lakers won 3 titles in a row years ago, Shaq dominated the first 3 quarters and the late 4th quarter was always Kobe time.

At this point starting Head or giving him 25-30 minutes a night isn't a stretch. Our guard play is really that bad.

Remember JVG saying that if you change a team to much you can get worst instead of better. So far trading Mike James for Alston looks like a bad move. Mike could score and that's what this team is lacking right now.

He only averaged 1.2 TOs in the 4 games and this is a dramatic improvement over the last 3 seasons.

Who's jumping off the bandwagon??? We can't comment on poor play without being labeled as fair weather fans? I think we'll eventually be a good team, but face it, we suck right now. No need to sugar coat it.

Why did not they lob pass the ball to Yaoming?

I just did understand what were they thinking in the 4th quarter.
ZO is slow and tired, he could not steal the ball if we lob pass the ball.
