this is not poor coaching...guys aren't making shots and not getting rebounds!! how the hell can you blame that on coaching, guys not making open shots and not getting rebounds late in the game after forcing tough shots is just bad play. yao got tired again and the only thing i can blame on JVG is having him running around setting picks. put his ass in the post and feed it to him.

but overall, guys have to make shots, you can't continue to miss open jumpers and expect to win. this is an awful start and i know it is just 4 games into the year but in their division these early games count. boy do we need tmac back NOW!

Sorry but can't blame Yao for the lost here...he did as much as he can with 22pts and 14rb. Blame this one on DA lack of defense, stupid turnover and nobody making any shots besides Yao,howard and Swift.

    WOW! They look horrendous.

Someone E-mail me when T-Mac is healthy. OK? Cool.

It's pretty sad when you can't even get it IN to Yao in the 4th quarter.

Not that he would make it. INout INout Inout ...

4 shots for YAO in the 4th....unacceptable....guards need to start learning how to pass when it matters. It's like they get brain freeze

I think Steve Kerr has a point about Mourning wearing down Yao - it seemed a lot harder to get the ball into him towards the end of the 4th. When will this team figure out how to beat the fronting or the 3/4ings...ugh.

Nah, Yao needed rest. Don't blame JVG for the guards not passing to Yao in both late 3rd and 4th. But I did notice he would sit guys down who do get hot, just not this time. Wonder why that is?

I'll blame this loss on not having tmac, Yao had decent number, but didn't do crap in crunch time, didn't even look like wanted the ball.

When you shoot 42% from the field, 50% from the FT line and 20% from behind the arc, you're not gonna win many games. The coaching is fine. We're just in dire need of our franchise player and top scorer and in dire need of the supporting cast to figure out their roles and start hitting some damn shots already. Funny thing is, if we had Tmac we probably would have won all these games in double digits.

One of the most pathetic offensive displays I've seen in a long time. Do the guards simply not want to throw the ball into Yao or are they unable to make a post entry pass? Either way, the guards can't shoot. Stro has no post up game. Yao won't fight hard enough for position. And when they need to get stops in the last few minutes, they can't. And even if they do, they don't get the rebound.

If there's one positive to take from their first 4 games(and I'm really reaching here), it's that they've been in every single game. No blowout losses. In fact, they've led late in the 4th quarter of each contest. If T-Mac is fact the cure for all this team's ills(which I don't believe BTW), I guess they'll be fine once he comes back.

Heat started sagging.....good move by Stan Van Gundy. They didn't do it all game until the end. Our great guards all of a sudden got confused.

All 3 announcers were dogging the entire team for not looking to Yao in the 4th.
