First half had me thinking that everything was gonna be okay and that we're becoming into the team we're supposed to be. Then halftime was over and we thought the game was over.
It went from James Har_en. To JAMES HARDEN!! Now to _ames _ar_en. No Jumper, Defense or Heart/Hustle.
I mean, what adjustments do we make? We seem snakebit! We should be 2-1 right now! Harden is playing terribly! The Kardashian/Lil B curse is forreal. Or maybe its all that cocky talk/not working on his game this summer that's shot him in the foot. Lawson looks so passive! Is this the result of not playing with JH in the pre-season? Should we bring him off the bench?
Unbelievable!!!!!! I don't know what to say except WTF!!!!!!!!! I've backspaced most of my thoughts because I'm a little bit upset but WOW
It seems no one knows their role on this team at the moment. Harden and Lawson both need the ball in their hands to be effective, which will continue to be a problem. McHale might be the worst coach in the league. Our offense revolves around threes and we don't have any good three point shooters. Could be a long year for the Rockets.
Yep! The Heat made adjustments at halftime and the Rockets couldn't counter b/c they have NO GAMEPLAN.
It is supposed to make the other team match up but the problem is Miami kept there Center on the floor
Rockets are a 3-point shooting team, yet no one on the roster scares any team. There's not one player on the team that can just come in the game and make the defense work. Rockets players are all spot up shooters who needs to be wide open. None of them can come off screens and make a 3 or just catch and shoot like the great 3 point shooters in the NBA.
If I was Morey I would honestly have mchale come sit in my office and explain to me why our promising big man Capella only played 14 minutes and watch mchale explain himself I'd also would lock the team in the gym How has one of our players not blown up on mchale for his rotations
Didn't even need to be fired, the next season was a team option, so Rockets could have moved on with good reason. Instead, picked up option, and then extended another three years by December.
Calvin: Right now, Rockets have one hell of a team. They have talent. They have to figure out right now how to make this thing happen consistently. They played the 2nd half as if Miami would quit. They need the killer instinct. The Rockets took their foot off the pedal. ... If you O isn't working, you're defense has to get stronger. Rockets still have 79 games to turn it around. This is not too late to turn it around. They gotta put a string together, if for nothing else the confidence factor.
