41 point turnaround. FORTY ONE POINTS. 3 straight 20+ point blowouts. Has that ever happened before in NBA history?
On fire in first half, ice cold in second. Can't rely this heavily on 3s or we should expect similar outcomes all year. I've said before that I like a lot of aspects about McHale, but if this group starts off 0-7, which is a distinct possibility, they need to cut ties and move on to a new coach. We'd have 3 games to re-group, and a stretch of 4 supposed-to-be easy games. My first move would be to put Bev back in the starting rotation. We need his intensity, and Lawson would work perfectly coming out with the second unit.
No idea. But if anyone's gonna research that, go ahead and look up how many teams have had 4 straight 20+ point losses to begin a season since we're playing OKC tomorrow.
The most consistent team in the league so far this season. Absolutely no volatility throughout the three games. -20 margin. Game 1, Game 2, and guess what, Game 3. History made. Harden the man. McHale the man. Anyone who's been defending McHale the man.
I just don't know what to think about this. All summer I was excited for the start of the season and I feel like I have been gutted. I know. Don't push the panic button. But give me some reason not to. I can't identify anything positive. Apparently our superstar has his head buried in some sk*nks t**s and our other superstar isn't reliable on playing time and our coach has no clue how to fix it. Talk about bummed
I wonder what Harden and McHale will say after this one.. "Got to be better." its all blahblahblah until they are better!
