I think he's deferred a lot to his teammates today, which was okay in the third as they were making their shots. I suppose he hasn't been assertive on the offensive end, but like you said, he's held his own defensively.

edit: As I say that, he gets his shot blocked by Shaq. Bah!

I knew Battier is solid, very solid. But I didn't know he's THAT good! He's everywhere and doing every little but right thing. Looking at his help defense, intensity, even the foul on Shaq to stop his dunk, when could we see that from JH and Swift? He's just great.

I expect him to contribute well, but now I am officially on his bandwagon.

Agreed, and Yao's too. But it's only the preseason.

To Jon Barry, referring to Kobe: "how many games will it take you to score 81 Jon?"

Jon: "81 is a good mark, 81 games"

    hahahaha

Why are we always doubling Shaq but when Ming has the ball the Heat play him single coverage?

Why is Ming playing like he took a slow Pill against a 40 year old Shaq, sigh.

Ming looks confused and docile again. Oh well it's preseason. I have to keep telling that to myself.

Yeah, but his line now is 14 pts, 13 rebounds, and still got 4 minutes to go

Yao Ming outplayed Shaq tonight. So far, Yao has a double-double (14 points, 13 rebounds). Shaq has a single-single (9 points, 5 rebounds).

    SHAQ SUCKS!!!
