I'm not a religious guy, but I'll have every good luck charm and every lucky gizmo I possess working hard. I have a little table I use for special occasions that call for exceptional luck for the Rockets. Obviously, it doesn't always work, but I keep the faith. I put a lot of things on it for luck. Candles and incense will be burning. Several weird bronze things that I bought on trips overseas will be there and I'll rub them for luck. I'll add the small framed photo I have of the topless chick that was giving sailboard lessons at a beach on Ios in the Aegean. I laughed every time a guy getting a lesson fell off the board, which was every time they tried. They couldn't keep their eyes off her. Must have been the great tan. Paid for her stay on the island. If we get a top 4 pick I'll be dancing around the room. If we get #1, I'll be outside howling! Interesting season, guys.
Not really... it's going to be a long month or so. lol. Waiting is the hardest part. Then we find out if it's going to be a long summer or not.
And there's the season. Not going to lie, this was a tough one to get through. BUT! Brighter days are ahead, I know it! And I'm looking forward to rooting for a winning Rockets team with all of you again...regardless of how long that takes. One more coin flip to win, and I have faith in the basketball gods! Give it to us!!
