I like the fact that many of us have signs of "20" all over the place. However, I feel this might be one of our toughest test. I know I know, they played teams like the NOH and Mavs, but this Atlanta team still have Joe Johnson, Josh Smith, and Mike Bibby. To many of you, these players might not be all that, but I think anyone of these guys can take over a game. Rockets could never guard the opposition PG's, and Battier and T-mac must clamp down on Josh Smith and Joe Johnson. Hawks are 19-12 at home. Let's hope they don't get some home cooking. And yes, their the one that kicked our a$$ after our 15 game winning streak. My gut feeling is if they beat Hawks in Atlanta, they're going to beat Lakers on Sunday to extend their winning streak to 22 games. A national televised game for the worls to watch!!! Code: Go Rockets!!!
they are 7 games over .500 at home; they have beaten the lakers, mavs, and a few other great teams at home. we can't overlook them. this could be our toughest test before the lakers game.
We will have to be at our very best on offense and defense throughout the game. We can't afford missed shots, rebounds, free throws and have to stay out of foul trouble. The guys have to approach it like a playoff game. Good ball movement, cutting to and attacking the basket and knocking down outside shots is also key. It's a winnable game but it's going to be very tough.
I'm really hoping for a win, but I'm nervous that this is going to be the toughest test since Sacramento. Atlanta has a lot of talent, and if they can get out and run, we may be in trouble. IMO, this is going to be one of those games where we really, really miss Yao Ming.
#20.....................Let's go rockets, let's kick more ass here is my interesting article i found on sports illustrated about T-mac http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/writers/david_dupree/03/11/mcgrady/index.html
The winning getting boring... Last game vs Hawks we have Yao to control the lane and board. Hoping this time Deke can do the same... Get Roll Rockets
This is definitely a trap game. Is Mutumbo quick enough to stay with Horford? I have a feeling Horford is going to crap on us tonight but we'll pull it out in a nailbiter. 20 in a row baby!
Hopefully Tmac doesn't get them all fired up with his as-close-to-a-guarantee-without-being-a-guarantee statement.
