I think steve is breaking out of slump 3 out of the last 4 games he has scored of twenty points.

    You are right.
    It's not Yao's day today.
It's unfair and immature to bash a player just by one game.

two win's in a row which seem a lot more impressive then they are because of the dramatic endings....let's not forget that these are the hawks and the bulls they just beat...a win is a win so we will take it but nothing impressive by any means...now if this continues with the spurs and lakers next week then that would be impressive...

Seems like the Rockets know how to get comeback wins in Atlanta. Nicely done.

great 4th quarter from the rockets. I was impressed. Cuttino delivered in the clutch. Great win on a night that was looking like one of their worst of the season.

JVG should get some credit for getting his team to make adjustments to the Hawks zone, and also getting them to re-focus their defensive energy.

This win, while it is only against the Hawks, will be HUGE come late in the season if playoff seeding is at stake.

Remember this game when we have a one game lead over somebody.

    a) francis and mobley just SAVED OUR ASSES. francis forced a drive for ft's, then hit mobley and jj for jumpers, mobley started draining 3's, francis got some ft's, mobley got the steal and went full court, and then francis sealed it with that jumper. after mobley's block on dickau, how many blocks is that for him? that's at least the 3rd jumper he's blocked, if not the fourth (something tells me the box score will only give him 1 or 2).

    b) bronson listened and benched mj. i now view mj the same as moochie. a necessary evil b/c francis and mobley can't play 48 minutes, but basically worthless on the court now that his honeymoon is over.

    c) we went on a 25-2 run from 55-68 to 80-72. incredible.

    d) that was the most incredibly suffocating D i've evern seen in the 4th. atlanta didn't even hit the rim on 3 straight possessions. amazing.

i don't care if it was the bulls and hawks, winning on a last second shot and then this huge comeback are huge for us. even if we lose to the lakers and spurs, we've at least assured not a total collapse heading into the all-star break.

We have unconvincingly won two games against some ****tehouse teams, but at the end of the day,

a WIN IS A WIN IS A WIN.

go Rockets. We are now streaking :p lol

if we lose to both the spurs and the depleted lakers at home then that just solidfies the rockets as what they have been, a mediocre team which will be lucky to get into the playoffs...you can't tell me that losing both those games before the all star break would not hurt the rockets imensely going into the break....

    Wow. This is truly great.

    I love it!

Steve lead this comeback for us. He dissed out assists; he attacked the rim; and he played great D on Terriable...ugh Terry. For one night Steve played like the franchise player that we all hope he could be.
