It not happens often, but it is. We lost, but i think that wasn't bad game for us. Atlanta played just great basketball. We gave them too much ofensive rebounds. That's it. Tracy was great again. They double-team him but he still scored 37. That's great for us. I'm not happy because this is Atlanta. But we cant only win. That's game, NBA. We have a great record 34-20. I hope we win in Orlando.

    Bench points are not there.

Competition is heating up after the all-star break. Rox definitely needs Yao back now. Sooner or later, jump-shooting is not going to do it.

The Hawks looked like the playoff team, tonight, they were just better. It seemed like they scored on every possession. They looked quicker, alot quicker. I thought Battier, Head, and Wells had subpar nights. Alston missed some critical shots and had some untimely turnovers, but warmed up a bit late. Missed freebies hurt. TMac was TMac. Playoff teams should win games like this.

Tough loss... but these things happen.

As long as it doesnt turn into a losing streak its all good.

atlanta did play great, they hit a lot of shots that i think the rockets are used to seeing bounce out of the rim bc of their 'great' defense. i just wish jvg would have tried snyder for even a few minutes to see if SOMEONE could inject some life into this team, once it became obvious that everyone but t-mac was flat and lifeless. and i don't know about you guys, but that became pretty obvious to me by the 3rd quarter when we came out in the 2nd half and the game had the EXACT same dynamic as the 1st half.

If it had not been for JL3 substitution the Rockets might have a chance ...

Coaching, Coaching decissions, Refusal to substitute when Battier and Head both were way off their games. If JVG remains the coach it will become difficult to coax decent players to the Rockets without giving them a guarantee that they will get playing time. JVG's refusal to have a backup active point guard on the team is hurting our team. Just when I thought that JVG was loosening up a little he proves me wrong.

When Bonzi, Battier, and Luther don't show up to play we will lose we need atleast one of those guys to have a big game and some production from all 3 of them to compete. Our defense has been off, even against Miami, we need to go back to holding teams under 85 points.

Of course we need Yao, but come on. We are playing great without him. Tracy is having a great time. And that, that we lost to Hawks is nat a big deal. I agree with one thing. Bench was playing awful. That's it

Shh. Don't you know pointing out the facts about JVG's lack of coaching ability is not allowed here? Be prepared to be jumped on by all the JVG apologists.

ATL just hit every big shot, got every call, and we missed ft's. Tmac did a better job on Joe Johnson, but everytime he was guarding JJ, they would use a pick like 2 times, and Deke would have to come out, unfortunetely Deke does not have to foot speed to recover or help out. Battier was just getting beat off the dribble way too much, thats where I saw him struggling tonight. If JJ was hitting crazy jumpshots, then ok, but he was driving with ease.

Is Steve Francis hurt? He is not even on the Knicks active roster.

the Hawks were playing out of their mind tonight and we always have problems with young atheletic teams.
thats why veteran teams like us and the spurs always have problems with them.
i am more concern about Rafer limbing off the court than our lost tonight

    This game disappointed me. :(
Mac's 37 point effort went to waste.

Clearly Battier sucks is why we lose this game! synder must go into games instead of Wells.Speaking truly, Wells had no good play in Rockets

Jesus, you people spaz out after every loss. It's embarrassing. Three key players had off games and the home team played with a lot of fight. It's not a crisis, it's not even a losing streak, it's just a road loss. Dig out the panties buried in your collective vagina's and stop the knee-jerk whining.

JVG: I think (Hawks) are a real good team, you know, people think they are (bad) as the 12th in the East, but stuff like that happens everyday in NBA. They deserve the win because they played with high energy from the first minute to the end. Our D was nonexisting, guys left their energy at home and we were getting killed on the boards...
Regarding Deke's minutes and DNP of the new 7 footer: No...I don't think it is a problem (for Deke), he just needs a good sleep and next game he better be ready for the same play time.

have u guys noticed our offense was horrible at the end of the game, just a high pick and roll with mcgrady, we need more than that, we rely on tracy to create too much.
