the good thing is tmac continues to play great from beginning to end. in his interviews, he has said he wanted to do that. one of the few times his team did not follow his play. tmac needs to start to yell at some players.

This game was so winnable but JVG just handed it to Joe Johnson. What a waste for Tmac. He deserves better.

Rebounding killed the team. End of story. Nothing else mattered.

Everybody has been so optimistic that this is the easiest month of Rockets' schedule, we were supposed to 10-2 or 9-3. Look what we are right now, 5-4 and who knows we can't lose to the Magic or Raptors. This team can't hold up the winning percentage without Yao. Come back soon big fella, we need you.

    What happened on our defence?

Atlanta is not a very good team... they're 11 games under .500, in the eastern conference. This was a bad loss and it's on JVG to make sure it doesn't start a losing streak.

tmac should have guarded joe. battier was not quick tonight and joe can rise over him. joe needs to use the screen to shoot over tmac b/c tmac would really disrupt his shot w/ his length. JVG needs to trust tmac more and stop depending on battier like he's the best defender ever. battier is great, but he can't stop the great ones. tmac is actually and can be a better man defender tan battier. it's the 4th so no need to save energy. tmac was going all out there.

No, i didn't want that. But I didn't want a mere 2 pt lead to go to 4.

    Anyway, I was just asking.

Could this game start the first Trade Battier/ Battier Sux thread?

32 min, 1-4 FG, 4 rebs, 0 asts, 0 stl, 1 blk, 3 pts, 6 fouls and held Joe Johnson 21 points on 12-22 shooting

Battier contested jj's shots. He just made them.

Second chance pts is the real culprit, I think.

no he went around battier, faked him w/ his ballhandling, wasn't just shots. i wanted tmac to guard joe to end the game.

33 minutes for Deke is unexcuseable. JVG is driving Deke to the ground. Why did the Rockets get Jake for to be VSpan's talking buddy? JVG no matter what he thinks is dead wrong in the way he is playing his starters too many minutes, plus he is risking the chance of another injury.
