At such a night when Battier and Head were clearly not in their form, why not gave Snyder a try? Sometimes JVG's rigid coaching really troubles me. That is why I don't think JVG's the one that will take us all the way.
Tmac got to make these, but i doubt he makes all 3! Man this is where I get scared cause in the playoffs, he has got to make these. This could really hurt us in the long run
head was clearly off all night. if a player is having that bad of a night, and you have an alternate on the bench, you give the alternate a shot. unless your name is van gundy. he's done a hell of a job getting us this far, but he still has his flaws. this is one flaw that is going to hurt us in the playoffs if he doesnt learn to adapt on the fly.
Hmm don't quite understand that decision there. Down by 4...20 seconds left...miss a contested layup?
as a fan board we let our team down I want no more threads about how we're gonna go 24-3 (or similar) over the rest of the regular season. we brought this crap on. Now we are dealing with the consequences. NOTHING from battier and less from Head. after a good forst half J-Ho went AWOL. we better come to play in Orlando. I'd hate to think this could be the start of some serious rot!!
This is PRECISELY why I don't like him driving inside late into games, because he just won't get the calls. The best weapon late in the game is a T-Mac three, period!
Form the box score, it seems that Shane Battier totally sucked ass on both ends of the floor tonight. Is that right, or were there some "intangibles" that I missed?
Battier was the one I expected to be able to play through the dull Atlanta crowd after seeing his interview. He played the worst, 3 pts fouled out.
Unfortunately it's too late to change the outcome. No energy from Head or Bonzi,3 points from Battier is also unacceptable.
Howard did nothing in the 2nd half. Nice comeback by Rafer in 2nd half. Battier disappeared tonight./
