T-Mac will need a rest in the 4th. Who will step up while he takes a rest? I wish JVG would play Wells, Snyder and VSpan to start the 4th. Most of the starters played all of the 3rd quarter.

WTF, why hasn't Snyder played aganist the HAWKS.

There is no way he could do worse than what our role players are doing right now.

    He deserves playing time anyway.

THat last play of the third quarter is the difference of Tmac now and Tmac of Orlando. In Orlando, he would have forced the shot. Today he trusted Rafer for a wide open shot

kirk snyder. he needs to be in the game. hes quick enough, big enough and athletic enough to guard either joe johnson, josh smith, marvin williams, or whoever they throw at us.

rafer - bring the ball up / spot up shoot
mcgrady - control offense, create shots, shoot, distribute
howard - spot up shoot, rebound
battier - spot up shoot, defend, rebound
hayes - ????? undersize, fouls, no rebounds, can't shoot ---

jake can't be worse can he? when mutombo is out, we are seriously lacking size and are getting KILLED on the boards. our weaknesses are severely exposed against an athletic team like the hawks.. esp. so when they're deep (like dallas).

jake must be stinking it up in practice...

edit: have been noticing that mac is shying away from contact when he drives. he's missed three reverse layups already.. maybe cause he doesn't get enough lift on the other side or he releases too early for fear of contact?

jvg should play snyder who might bring some energy into the court. So far i see no energy in the rockets, wonder if there was a fight in the locker room or something lol:confused:

Battier hasn't been able to do anything to Josh Smith all game long...well, he fouled him but that's about it.

That, IMO, is the only real weakness in Battier's defense, big/quick forwards/guards give him trouble.

Battier is REALLY struggling making practice shots that McGrady is creating for him...it's really hurting us.
