I do not think the Rockets think like us. They are probably happy fighting and vying for the 5th or 6th seed.

 

I mean everything can happen in an NBA game, the Sixers have defeated us more than once.

 

Yes and no. Alexander has been solely about Offense and responsible for hiring and sacking of coaches (D Antoni.....)

 

The major issue in this game was turnovers. We had 24 of those bad boys with around 22 assists. Majority of those turnovers were due to playing sloppy and carelessly. It had nothing to do with Atlanta's defense.

We also couldn't get stops, our defense was abysmal last night. We have to make a stronger commitment to playing better defense at all times.

 

this is what I wanted to do honestly. I had the game on DVR buffer for 25-30 min so I was fast forwarding through it and I still wanted to turn it off. it felt like a loss the entire way through. the hawks kept getting to the line and the rockets kept getting in foul trouble early making it hard to play defense. such a boring game so many hawks fts

 

you do realize you could've b****ed about Capella being drafted during the year he was, as well as Dekker. remember how bad both of them looked? I mean do you really expect to find NBA ready players that late in the draft?
it's not fair to judge a rookie this early. especially a late first-round pick and a couple of crappy second round picks.

You just knew Millsap would have a field day, so not surprised by this loss. Biggest difference though: Hawks play defense, we don't.

 

earlier in this thread i said they were supposed to win the game and not lose! THEY LOST THE GAME! they didnt listen, AGAIN!

its not that complicated. just go out there and play harder. play with a lot of energy. make your shots and make them miss theirs. and most importantly, win the game and dont lose!

 

Why do we have brewer on the team still? . Brewer is a void on the roster.

 

yes he will. Because the new cba will lower the experience needed to get the super max. So he will lose money. On top of not winning.

 

Yes that's what I mean. Its impressive but if he plays no defense and turns it over 6 times so we lose, its meaningless.

If he has the ability to put up 30 and 15 he should have the ability to work harder on defense and be more careful with the ball. They got tons of points off turnovers

The Hawks are probably not a 50 win team and this game was not close

 

I was only able to watch 5 mins of the game somewhere in the 1st half. Saw Brewer and Ryan in the game doin the same **** that frustrates me to see.

 

Dang some fans are really salty after a handful of games. I didn't know the sky would fall out after 5 freaking games. lol I mean come on people, we haven't played a quarter of a season yet. At least give them 20 games played before saying we won't make the playoffs.

Houston fan base has to be by far the worst. Good grief

He didn't even say "go talk to bzdelik" like he usually does on defensive questions

 

To be honest, and not trying to make excuses, but the refs took us out of the game pretty early in this one. They took the fire out while slowing the pace of the game to a slow boring crawl. The foul calls they were giving the Hawks was almost unbearable and unwatchable. This is the problem with the NBA, to much ref control.
