3 turnovers by ward in the last 5 mins killed the game, man, i miss francis!!!!

 

I think it's time to see whose available in the NDBL and waive Ward.

I am sick of this loss. JVG and Tmac are to blame. Even Yao is double teamed, you have to go to him because nobody else is making any shot!

Houston led by 11 with 6:12 to go and then missed 12fg's in a row and allowed the Hawks to go on a 15-0 run, and 17-2 run to finish the game.

CRAPPY game.

 

At this point, I'd like to see JVG take a look at Gaines. Maybe he isn't has slow and boneheaded as Ward. Sura hurry up and comeback man!

Why did the Rockets go away from Yao???

I can't believe what I just saw in this game.... Yao Ming practically can't miss all game. The Rockets are up 14 points, then suddenly they start playing as if Yao is on the other team. Then, the last possession they find a way to get Yao the ball and he drains a shot. This after not passing him the ball ONCE for almost 7 minutes...

What the heck can Van Gundy be thinking here??? Sure, the Hawks made some adjustments but for crying out loud you don't just give up feeding Yao. Find another way to get him the ball. Use screens, use pick and roll. But geez the guy is shooting like 90% from the field... GET HIM THE BALL.

My last post was all about how getting Yao established early would set the tone for the rest of the game. The Rockets did a great job of that tonight and for 3 quarters the Hawks were constantly on their heels. Then, the fourth rolled around and the Rockets just gave up on Yao as if he'd been ice cold all game. I guess I forgot to mention in that last post that you establish Yao early AND KEEP GOING TO HIM THROUGHOUT THE GAME.

God what a joke... Losing to the Hawks with Yao shooting over 80% from the field.

 

Man how in the hell do you lose to the HAWKS coming into the 4th with a 11pts lead? just freaking insane

UGH! I wasted time studying for my final exam to watch the most disgusting games ever. how hard is it to dribble the ball up the court and pass it to the superstar? Man, you just can't win with two superstars and a bunch of scrubs.

no the players on the court are the ones to blame. Gundy wasn't playing on the floor. He guides. He doesn't actually play. SO you tell me how little JVG loses a 14 pt lead when he's on the sidelines?

 

I think this loss is bull. How do you not go to Yao in the fourth until the game is basically lost. I mean you had every player on the court jacking up bad shots with Yao wide open in the paint. This is fu messed up.

this isn't gumby's fault... It's the players who dont' have their heads in the game...
