Did the Hawks actually NOT commit any fouls in the 4th? Was there anything that wasn't called? or did they actually NOT commit any fouls?

the othe rthing i dont like bout JVG is the way he handles boki. I m not a boki fan, but a bad game against the lakers, he is in the doghouse??? what is this??? Boki at least can rebound n shoot n even slashing into the lane... yet one bad game or one small mistake... he is in the doghouse??? Is this the way jvg develops his player????

Boki is the only Rocket who consistently MOVES without the ball.

This offense needs more cutters.....it is too darned stagnate and predictable, and Yao is not dominate enough to make it so predictable.

JVG will say that we lost the game because Yao can not get position, so we could not pass the ball.... we need rebound better

Sorry to interrupt the thread, but i've got a few questions concerning NBA inside ticket. Is playoff coverage included in the 'season long' package? What should I choose, 'season long' or monthly? When i played the preseason video offered by NBA.com for free, the picture is no good, does that mean I should only get Audio League Pass only? Anyway, just hope some of you guys who already purchased give me some advice. Last but not least, GO ROCKETS!

Well, for those who are seriously questioning JVG's use of Boki, offensive scheme, or anything else; he is supposed to be on SportsRadio 610 tomorrow at 6:30 am. Get your calls in and lets see what his explanation is.

we have tmac and yao right now and we're 4-5. and if you're team is counting on bobby sura to turn it around, you might be in trouble. maybe he'll be the magic potion, but i'm not holding my breath. he's certainly not going to help with the shooting based on his career percentages. maybe he can at least bring the ball up without getting stripped or pressured so bad he just has to give it up.

I agree, the guards took Yao out of the game. Yes, during the 4th qtr, the Hawks defenders were fronting Yao aggressively and double-teaming him down low so that he wasn't able to firmly establish position, but there were a few occassions that I thought the players should've dumped the ball to Yao instead of jacking up crazy shots from behind the arc.

I think in situations where Yao is being heavily fronted, JVG should set up specially plays to get the ball to him. Seriously. If one guy is fronting Yao, everyone just suddenly goes away from him. No one has the guts to dump the ball to him.

The major factor in the fourth quarter that hurt us was turn-overs. Charlie Ward had a TERRIBLE 4th quarter. He should take the fall in this game.

at this point... we need someone who can atleast bring the ball up without getting stripped or pressured. Hopefully the guy is SURA. If not, we need to make a deal or search the NBDL, sign Mark Jackson ect...

If you shoot over freakin 80%, it doesn't matter what kind of position hes in, double or not, the dude was on fire, just give him the ball and he would still have a higher shot % then his role players.

Everybody here is seriously over-estimating the presence that JVG should have on this team when they're on the court.

Players make wide open shots... players don't make bone-headed turnovers... and players eventually win you games.

Don't give me all this "its his fault the team is mentally weak," or that he should have taken each player out after they made their intial mistake.

These guys are supposedly professionals making millions of dollars. Yes... you Maurice Taylor... yes, you Charlie Ward. They're veterans, and everybody here thinks they should be coached like little babies.

They know what to do... and JVG can tell them what to do... whether or not they do it is a whole nother story.

If they can't do it, they should be replaced by somebody else who can. This isn't like an Astros/Jimy Williams thing, where the players just magically stopped playing well throughout the season... this is more about players refusing to pay attention to detail, and put forth an effort that will win you games.

They're lackadazical, they're slow on defense, and they don't rebound... I'm sure these are the three things that JVG stresses the most.

Bottom line... you guys are vastly overestimating an NBA coach and his ability to "win" or "lose" a game for you.

is NBA inside ticket the same as League Pass?

anyway, in the playoffs every game is televised on either ESPN, TNT, TBS, ABC, or NBATV I believe. all games are on some sort of national television. so assuming you have cable and get these channels you can watch every playoff game.
