Who remembers the game against the hawks last year where joe johnson or someone ally ooped with like .5 seconds remaining FTW
On the positive side, we might see a lot of Terrence Williams and Patrick Patterson tonight...
Rockets will get creamed. I expect Josh Smith and Joe Johnson to have monster games. Hawks- 115 Rockets- 100
Well, we already lose in two popular ways: 1. No defense = give up easy points 2. Cold offense = just dont make any points for a long stretch. I think we have to find a new way... There should be a thread "Suggest how rockets will throw this game away"
I don't mind losing games... and I have no problem with our team. Its okay to lose when you are going against better talent. The talent we have, especially with double digit lead at the start of 4th, should easily be able to win such games. I think 1-2 games are enough to teach lessons, but god... how many games they have lost like that this year? -Against Portland, we had 13 point lead with 8 minutes to go or so -We had good lead against UTAH last week -Now Hornets this week. This has nothing to do with talent... its all about execution. They suck at executing when it matters the most. Even Clippers executed well against HEAT. Clipper had double digit lead.. Lebron and Wade came up with big buckets... Still Clippers continued to look for good shots or go inside hard. Defensively contest all shots and don't turnover the ball... Its not that hard to defend double digit lead... These guys are professionals and they play so unprofessionally for last few minutes.
I don't mind losing if PPat, JHill, CLee, Ish, Bud, T-Will, AB and Kyle are all regular rotation guys getting valuable experience but I do mind when the team is 17-23 and 30 yr old Scola, 32 yr old Battier, 34 yr old Brad Miller and even 27 yr old Chuck Hayes continue to get the bulk of the minutes.
All depends on GB/ATL.. if ATL wins tonight in football, they lose in bball... ATL loses tonight in football, they win in bball...
Someone on their bench will have a breakout game for them as usual. It never fails. Who's it gonna be this time?
