    outside of gasol's dunk and that last layup i haven't seen the grizzlies shoot within 18 feet of the basket and they just won't miss. it's amazing.

    spoon having a spectacular game so far. lets gasol get an easy dunk. then on a press, dribbles with his man right behind him then pulls up and lets outlaw steal it. then, on the last play he's got a wide open layup and he drops the pass and lets the grizzlies get the layup on the other end because of it. beautiful job spoon.


    UT and the rockets both leaving their defenses behind so far tonight.

    Some teams just are hot on certain nights and this appears to be that kind of night for the Grizzlies. The Rockets didn't weather the storm too well but can just as easily get back into the game again. Cut the lead down to 10 or single digits by halftime, and continue shaving off points as each quarter goes. In the meantime I'll just continue watching the Texas game and flip back and forth between commercials to see if the Rockets have pulled a little closer. Otherwise I'll be sure to stay away from the boards til next game if the lead keeps climbing.
