    Just about anybody in the league is more talented than Shane, but if it was about talent only, everybody would be a star.

    Shane is super smart and he's a true professional

    I agree, I have come around on Shane...he is just one of those guys that easily win you over.

    One of the best (if not the best) role players in the league; I would add Juwon to that list too for the way he's carried himself and helped carry this team without Yao...they have both exceeded my expectations at the start of this season.

    having a high basketball IQ, 3 point shooting, and playing great defense are all great talents. I think you just mean athletic. just because you are long and can jump out of the gym doesn't mean you are talented.

    Luther just can't play the point, but I accept the fact that he's the ONLY 'workable' backup for Rafer, especially with T-Mac on the court you need him to space out the floor a bit on the offensive side of the ball.

    Excellent point. One of the biggest misconceptions out there in the league is that "athleticism equals talented"...it's precisely why GMs and scouts end up losing their jobs.

    You just can't discount Luther's "clutchness" in the 4th...the man has icicles in his veins.

    And you just can't discount how well Battier has played Miller this entire game...where would we be without this guy? I shudder to think...

    T-Mac just faked Gay out of his shoes. :eek:
