I didn't know that. He should bring Green with him.

 

Looks like Jalen got benched for the majority of the game. Dude didn't show up at all.

Amen and Alpi fought, but it wasn't enough.

 

SAD, SAD ,SAD. The Org. Is not doing enough to put a decent product on the floor nightly. Too many inactive and unplayable members. We are coasting for the end if the year!

 

Amen was our only “future franchise player” who actually played like it tonight.

Alpi was ok.

Jalen and Jabari were terrible.

Add that to Dillon Brooks turning into Bob the Builder and we have a recipe for a disastrous loss against a tanking Grizzlies team.

Also, after two fun games from Aaron Holiday, I must hop back on the dislike train. He had the best shooting night on the team but he also ran the team like a headless chicken when asked to play point and absolutely did not deserve the minutes he got. The problem is everyone else who could’ve played instead was probably just as bad.

This team can be so tiring at times. Way to let us down on Valentine’s Day..

 

People should stick to what they thought this team would do at the start of the season, most of us thought 33 wins or about that, that's what this team is. The rest of this post is not directed at you, since you're a patient poster but...

People have to accept it.

None of the young guys are proven yet, none of them, and that's fine given their age.

But people need to stop pointing fingers at Jalen or Bari or Sengun or whoever.

All of these players have had periods where they completly stunk. Sengun hasn't looked like the player he was at the start of the season for about a month or more now. Jalen has stints of playing terrible and playing horrible. Jabari is too passive on nights where he's clearly on and too aggressive on nights where he's off (WTF is that?). Cam scores, that's about it. Tari can't get on the court consistently for a month.

Amen is the only guy that's been pretty consistent but he can't shoot.

As for the vets, they are what they are, Brooks is a role player and FVV is a key player, neither of them moving the needle.

Tate is a scrub and the rest of the guys are pretty much scrubs. Outside of Unc Green, he's just really old...

This team is what it is.

People wanting to trade young players for vets to just be a middling playoff team, well, I'm glad none of them are making personnel decisions.

 

Dude had single digit rebounding back 2 back......he should not even be playing.

Know you are a fan, but that is unacceptable to me.

 

I'm tired of seeing Sengun holding back Jalen Green's development.

 

Oh yeah Alpi fought alright. Our starting center has had 7 rebounds combined in the last 2 games. What a superstar. He has had 14 combined in the last 3. Hell Amen had 12 tonight by himself.

 

Sengun's playing with a rookie pg it's normal his performance to drop imo. He was used to playing pnrs with Fred now trying to build a chemistry with a 20 yo rookie.

 

As he should have been. The guy just shows such little effort.

 

8 days without Rockets basketball.

 

I think Dillon Brooks should be traded, his defense is overrated, he tries ridiculous shots, he is very untalented.

 

You know Luke Kenner made 3 three first quarter when he was getting guarded by Jalen and same thing happened on Knicks game where Jalen guarded DiVincenzo. Why you think Ime benched him? He is even worse in defense, he always get caught in the pick and arrives two step behind every time. He is getting bbq chicken

 

They do not even trade Tate.

Quite frankly I don't think Green played like ass tonight. He was 2-7 but was probably the best perimeter defenders outside Amen tonight and took care of the ball and with his limited time found open shooters with his dribble penetration.


2-7 is a small amount of shots that can easily turn into 5-10. I have never once yet complained about Jalen getting benched because I thought he deserved it before but tonight I think Ime was being unnecessarily hard on him. Holiday shot better but was significantly worse at every other aspect tonight. The team did horribly with Holiday on the court.
