for my 5,800th post i predict a 4 game win streak starting tonight!

 

Its gonna make me sick to watch Rudy be Gay and Stromile be Swift.

Shane B better show up, and T-Mac better show up!

 

Does anybody know if this game will be played on TVKOO or anything?

 

I have TVU player and watch it on cctv5.

Gay goes off and show the rockets what a huge mistake they made ala Rashard Lewis, but Rockets win and Yao and T-Mac combine for 65 points.

 

Who cares if stro plays or rudy shines! I hope its Tmac out there who shines and really plays tonight! 6 rox players in double digits tonight...Rox win!!

 

A win by 2 is the same as a win by 40. Tomorrow is the second leg of back-to-back. JVG should distribute PT evenly so we can win tomorrow as well. I hate to see slow legs and TOs as I saw in HO game.

So often in professional sports, you forget the athletes playing the game are individuals with the same joys and problems that everyone else experiences. While playing professional basketball is an unbelievably great and fun job, most people think that my wife, Heidi, and I are immune to having "bad days".

Getting traded to Houston has been great so far, but when you get traded, most people don't realize that you must leave all the friends and relationships that you have made over the years and move to a new city where you don't know anyone. This is an intimidating experience. For the last five years, Heidi and I had made great friends in Memphis. It didn't matter that I played professional basketball to them, they knew me as a good friend who told corny jokes (but they still laughed at them).

I make my first trip to Memphis this week to play my old team the Memphis Grizzlies. It will be strange to stay in a hotel in a place that I called home for the last five years. Although I am looking forward to the game, I am looking more forward to having dinner with my friends and reconnecting with the people I have spent the last five years of my life. To me, that is what life is all about, the relationships with others. You may have all the money or fame in the world, but if you don't have anyone to share it with or enjoy it with, it doesn't mean anything. Luckily I have been blessed with a wonderful family and wonderful friends to share in my life. I am a lucky guy!

I am so happy to have discovered that tonight's game with be shown on the NBA League Pass free preview! I've been a Grizz fan for years, so it will be really nice to see Shane get some love and support at the game.
