I think the Lakers would only do this trade, if they thought it would actually better their team, not because of any attendance boost..

Me get a clue? You know what I am talking about. Why the hell did you bring up that You became a "fan" because of yao, that you are a Chinese. So what? What's your point? So you can curse? Just like last year, lots of posters came out after a bad game, claiming being Rockets fans for N years, then started all the hatred, as if they were entitled to. Sounds familiar? Yes, he didn't play well, but all you could notice is just that he didn't have pair of balls to dunk that ball? I wonder whether you ever watched a complete basketball game before, or just stuck with highlights of sportscenter. New team, new players, there will be adjustment made, simple fact.

You are mistaken, when you said that you could say whatever you want to. Actually, no, you can't. This is a public bbs, and there are certain rules. Try continuing your curse, you will find yourself banned by the admins, as simple as that.

    Yep!

P.S. Well, maybe not 30, maybe a little less. Like this...

    03/26/2004 (last year)
    FINAL 1ST 2ND 3RD 4TH TOTAL
    --- --- --- --- -----
    HOUSTON 19 23 23 21 86
    MEMPHIS 39 20 27 23 109 FINAL

...most of the other games we lost by 5-8 or so.

I find this to be ironic, because I think the whole point of why TMac came here is because he doesn't want to be doubled all the time. He wants to be the guy who is open and having an easy time scoring.

But in this team he has players he can pass the ball to. Just wait until everybody starts jelling and Yao is out of his slump.

Who the hell cares about attendance Yao in LA would mean more TV advertising dollars and greater overseas marketing for companies wishing to extend their trades with Asian cities.

They have their top executives working on moving cap space and other avenues to prepare for 2006. Yao is better in LA, Houston can't take full advantage of his marketing power and frown upon his latter,

that's the reason they got T-Mac, they are betting on insurance that Yao will take a hike in 2006 or his skills will regress.

Oh yea i can say whatever the hell i want to say without the foul language. See the smart ones will pick up right away what i mean by that. And yes i do watch a complete basketball game...in fact I just finished watching 2 out of 3 Rox's recent games and Yao play absolutely 100% pathetic. I bring up I am a Rox fan because of Yao but that has nothing to do with Yao representing "ME," you understand the word "ME" right?? I'll be laughing if Yao play the game just for "ME." Damm...i better find some smart people to discuss my new NBA topic.

Frankly speaking, I was astonished by Tmac
's passing ability. before, I thought Tmac was a good scorer, that's all, but today I knew, he is also a spectacular passer. I do love him so much, and fans ,please be patient ,once yao accustomed to what he saw,he will be damn good compliment with Tmac. Now ,he just also be stunned by what he saw Tmac could do.

    Wow, let me see.

Yao is playing hurt, with a whole new team, and has had a couple of subpar games...and people want to trade him???

This guy is 24, 7'6", has ALREADY proven he is a premier player at center, has every GM in the league drooling if they could get their hands on him, and people are talking about trading him???

I just don't get it. Yao is going to go through stretches where he struggles. He is not a dominator like Hakeem...but that doesn't mean the guy isn't good. The guy is a good basketball player and will adjust, we should ALL know this by now. He proved it his rookie year, he shoved it up everybody's butt his second year, he's dominated international play...the guy is a great basketball player. Give him a freakin break. He'll get healthy and adjust.

By the end of the season, he'll average between 17-20 points and 8-10 rebounds a game...he'll be the second best center in the league again...

Jeez...wow...this board has some of the biggest over-reactors in history.

Do we win the game without a good perform from Yao? If Yao is going to start play better, we will be much better team. Why do your people always complain?

I love TMac's game. I predicted he will give us a better game before it happened. As some other posts mentioned, his game is not at the same level as Steve's. When Yao pick up his game, Rox would be unstoppable.:D

Amare just scored 29 in a win against philadelphia. A hurting JOneal scored 19 in a win against boston. So why cant a hurting or even a foul troubled yao can at least score more than 17 points in the 3 games that the rockets played? My God, im getting pissed of. I hope he can read this becoz he really needs some serious soul searching. Greatness is not offered on a silver platter. Right now, hes the most popular stiff in the game beside shawn bradley. Again and again i firmly believed that hes much much better than rik smits to whom he is mostly compared to. Wow, he really sucks right now.

If that is really lthe case i would like him to sit out and let it fully heal before he comes back. When you favor an injury it can lead to another injury in the future...he should come back when he is 100%

One play that had me taking note: 2nd quarter, at the 7:00 minute mark, T-mac has the ball way out on the right wing, WELL beyong the 3-pt line, Lorenzen is just in front of the basket, Yao on the low left block.

T-mac does a little dribbling exhibition way out there on the right wing, but the difference between his exhibitions and you-know-who's becomes apparent: T-mac's eyes are up, surveying the court.

Yao flashes inside in front of Lorenzen, and is open, available to T-Mac for a split second, and BAM! Just like that, T-Mac picks up his dribble and zips a long but LASER pass in to Yao at point blank range. Yao doesn't make the FG because Lorenzen fouls him, but that's beside the point.

The time/space window that Yao was open was small, yet T-Mac has the ability to make the play.

T-Mac has it all, baby. Handle WITH vision AND passing skills.

At least for this game, we saw firsthand what MacBeth was talking about in his "About McGrady the Player" thread.

    FREE T-MAC, HELL YEAH JVG!

I think yaos peformance has a lot to do with that stupid brace on his elbow. He does not look comfortable at all with that thing on. Anyone see him take it off and throw it with frustration???? He"ll be fine

I never saw him throw it but I did notice, as they sat down for a timeout, that someone was trying to hand him the brace and he was angrily waving it off. I think fould trouble was the cause of his game tonight as well. And, what is up with all the screen-rolls for the guards in the first quarter without running one play for him though? Anyway, I'd like to know how our main three big men had a combined 16 fouls while both Gasol and Wright were never in any kind of foul trouble.
