TOTALLY AGREE! I ALSO AGREE WITH OTHERS THAT YAO NEEDS TO IMPROVEMENT THE MENTAL ASPECTS OF HIS GAME. DUNK THE DAMN BALL. SHOW THE DEFENSE: BRING'EM ON.

DaDakota, I agree. I'd love to have a playmaker (Nash/Bibby). Or someone that could run the break and create for McGrady and JJ.

But I think another thing we would need is a slasher with speed; that can also pass.

Terry, mostly known for his scoring (17-19 for his first thee years). But he can pass too. His career assist/TO is: 5.5/2.6. His 3pt shot is decent at .367. But he's had better years above .370.

So, he can shoot from outside, drive , create, pass, and hit FT. He's just a solid PG.

The good thing about this game is that Yao didn't play well and Rox still win....although that put a load on Tmac. But from what i seen tonight...the TMAC Yao pick and roll is pretty hard to stop.

And i am wondering if the Rox purposely chose not to pass to Yao in the post because they don't want to injure his arm?? Because I hardly never EVER see any pass into the post for Yao at all. Yao is out there doing pick and roll almost 100% of the time.

So far, I get to see 2 out of the Rox's 3 games and both times Yao play pathetic. Hopefully he play better on Sat against the Kings at home.

Why the Lakers trade Odom and Mihm for Yao and Mo? Come on. They'll throw in 2 1st rounders too. They want Yao to gain the attendance boost from the Asian population in California. Houston doesn't nearly benefit from the attendance boost of Yao on the team. Folks are going to the Toyota Center on Saturday to see TMac.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Yao's injury must be more serious than what was reported in the papers. :(

Spurs vs Lakers game is on.

Spurs offense is so smooth. Can we adopt some of their plays?

I can say what ever the hell i want to say...nobody can dictate what i can or can not say. Where the hell you learn that being a fan prevent me from saying what i want to say on him??? I didn't say he represent me...did I ever in my quote say he represent me?? Get a clue!!! Yao isn't playing up to his capability and play like a girl and that IS A FACT from the 2 games i seen so far. If he wants to grow some ball and play like a man...then watch some of the videos from last year...because he's clearly going back to being that same soft-Yao again. So he's injured and therefore he chose not to dunk the ball...then why the hell he dunked the ball the other time??? Make no sense to me.....especially when he's wide open when TMAC passed him the ball....he doesn't even have to do a layup..he just had to lay the ball inside the basket...or dunk it...but he chose to lay it off the glass and missed it ...how pathetic!! Man, if you want to conquer "the mountain" with all his might as he said he want to...then bring some toughness and consistency in every game. Stop going backward being soft again.

how about Divac, Odim and Mihm bring Yao back to Rody's offense and play with Kobe as 2nd Option.

For 1 and 3/80th of a year JVG don't know plays to get a simple freakin ball to a 7'6 center who he labels his bloody freakin offense under.

Why waste his development on an offense that can hardley break the 80 pt mark.

T-Mac had a great night but the second part of our primary core ain't doing **** whether it's his fault or the teams is yet to be determined

    but

we can't rely on T-mac throughout the rest of the schedule. If we follow that course what the hell makes us different than the Orlando Magic of 2003?

Man I hate it when people bring up the "Shanghai Shake" as if that was what Yao's game was like in his rookie year. I saw him do it one time on national tv against the Pacers and that was it. Yao's lowpost game (when he gets the ball) is way better now than it was in his rookie year.

You can tell that Yao is a competitive guy, and playing poorly is probably killing him. Personally I think all this frustration is going to build up in the guy and he will explode against somebody in the near future.

People in this board is always overeacting. Let's wait a couple of weeks and the whole team will be playing better. We now have a superstart in this team. Other teams will have to double him all the time, and he is smart that he will always find guys for open shots. I saw flashes tonight of what the future will be. This is going to be awsome!!!!!

Tracy McGrady is the best player that this franchise has had since 1996. He is better than Hakeem Olajuwon in 1996-1997. Call me crazy, but I believe that. Good God, this guy is absolutely amazing. Last year's Rockets team would have lost this one by 30. This guy just knows how to play the game - he can score, he knows how to set people up, he doesn't turn it over. This guy put this team on his back today and picked the Grizzlies apart. Thank God we extended his contract before he realized that Yao is freaking pathetic.

Yao, bro. I stood by you all this time. I said you had the most potential in the NBA - back me up, bro. I don't know if it's the elbow or what, but you've embarrassed me out there as well as yourself. Pick it up.

Finally, a win for the Rockets. I just hope Yao gets out of his shooting slump. Even if he fouls out a few games, he can't be worried about the referees, go out with all guns blazing until he starts to adjust to the officiating and gets better calls.
