True. He can do this if we need him to be a PG. But next year (or maybe this year FAs) we'll fix the PG position.

    Jason Terry? :)

He may not be starting but he is logging starter minutes for Dallas.

A True PG would be a better find, a penetrate and dish man.....

with the way the announcers were commenting on the game, you would have thought the rockets were down by 10 or 15 points the entire game.

I just hope Tracy's back won't hurt after this game. That's a lot of load to carry.

Yao gaining a lot of muscle may not be that great of a thing. Seems he is so much slower than everyone else on the court, even more so than the last two years. Wondering if that's because of all the more weight he is carrying around. Because of the lack of speed and quickness, he is not a good help defender. If JVG continues to force him to play that role, he won't last half a game.

The bright spot is the high pick and roll between Tracy and Yao works pretty well.

Again, I hardly see any play run through Yao at all. It's as if the offense is not meant for Yao at all. They just pass the ball around.

Also why the hell Yao seem to go back to his soft side again. One time McGrady pass to him for a wide open dunk and he chose to do a layup...that's freaking pathetic for a big man like Yao. I mean why the hell Steve Francis has to be there to remind him to dunk the ball again?? It's getting stupid and frustrating in watching Yao's development. Grow up and be a man goddamm it!!! You're so freaking talll and you play like a freakinng girl..that's pretty pathetic. I have nothing against Yao...infact i am Rockets fan just because of Yao and I am Chinese ....and I hate to see him play like that...grow ssome freaking ball. If he is injured then i don't blame him for doing that layup..but if not....he better watch his games from last year..it's like he has to learn everything all over again...pretty stupid to me..going back to being soft again. I thought he already develope that.

I hear your pain. Yao needs to get a tape recording of Sf yelling at him to dunk the freakin ball and be a man.

Yao needs to step it up because I think Odom and Mihm for Yao and Mo is definitely a possibility at this point.

The game should shut up all those T-Mac doubters on this board.
Now, It all comes down to Yao if we wanna take the Rockets to the next level, and I have no doubts that Yao will be there. Look at those passes that T-mac fed to Yao. Man! I'm so happy we got him!

It really does. When Yao rolls to the basket Tmac can spot him a lot easier than shorter players...Yao is going to have to get use to that and go stronger to the hoop, a lot of times he got the ball off of the pick and seemed surprised, but he hasn't seemed very confident since the season started. That should change...hopefully soon.

Those that think our turnovers are still here. Well, we do make some dumb mistakes right now. But those will lessen as time goes on. We're a smarter team. Just look at our rosters TO history/rate. That will average out as time goes on.

    Those TO will come down.

We'll still make dumb mistakes now and again. And in the future, even from our best Players (McGrady/Yao). But we'll follow a new standard. And once we (us fans) get used to our team *not* turning the ball over...we will be VERY MAD at ANY player that does during the game. Even if we only have 12 TO. Our standard for low turnovers (as fans) will be very high. :) We will demand it from our players.

God help any of our role players that turn the ballover a lot (during crunch time), much less McGrady/Yao. They will be crucified by BBS members.

Be patient. It just has been 3 games. As they get used playing together, Yao will regain confidence and his game will improve. TMac is a really superstart and will make everybody in this team better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yao has been degenerated to a role player. This is now T-Mac's team. There will be no offense for Yao on this team. This offense cannot go through Yao as he is now too slow. JVG can't risk slowing down the team as it is. He needs to put points on the board and he's gonna do it through T-Mac.

Here is some advice. You and other Chinese fans need to get down to the Toyota Center and instead of singing that gay ass Yao song, need to start swearing and cussing at Yao in Chinese!!!!!! I'm sure in China, Yao has people taunting him all the time. Hearing the Houston crowd swearing and taunting him in Chinese is the only thing that will gonna motivate him!!!!!!! :D

How convenient. You don't even know whether he's injured, and yet you already analyzed deeply about the reason he didn't dunk that ball, because he's lacking of balls. Of course his elbow is bothering him. Couldn't you see that he tried to throw that away on the end? Someone picked it up and handed him, can you see he's saying "NO"? Can you see his frustration in his face? Sure, he didn't play well in the past three games, there must be reasons. But you can't say he's not trying, coz you can clearly see his desire in his expression. Basketball games are not just about "growing balls". There are lots of factors in a win or a loss. Being a fan because of Yao, and being a Chinese, don't give you any legitimate rights to use that kind of language on him. He needs to play well, to help the team win, and lead the team to win. He's there for himself and the Rockets, not to represent you, get over with it.

Did you notice that Yao threw away his elbow brace during a timeout and the trainer begged him to put it back on? It must bother him a lot, but his elbow must be fragile so he has to wear it now.

Deke! What can I say? Bring it on every night!
