It is clearly Tmac's team, and man is he good.

Yao needs to adjust to the speed of the defensive rotations, and learn when to OLE it.

    1-2 is a LOT better than 0-3.

This is defininatly looking like T-Mac's team the way Yao is playing he better be worried about losing his job and becoming the Backup C .

3 bad games in a row now, why don't he just DNP until that ugly cast is gone.

there is no comparison between SF and TMac. SF is a very good player but TMac is just in a different level. He has the prototype of a franchise player.

After these three games, the success of this season will be decided by Yao.

We know what T-Mac will do, but we don't know that about Yao. IF Yao does not click soon, he will run out T-Mac and Deke's gas very quickly.

    Finally!
    Good Win.
Bad Yao. :( If his arm is bothering that much he needs to sit down until it's better.

Read it. This is a complete player.

Inside, outside, shooting, passing, rebounding. You name it. Oh, and he's smart. Makes the game look easy.

I think we have to give Yao sometime to adjust to play with TMac. Once those two learn each other's game, they are going to be unstopable.

I think that TMac just showed everyone why he's a superstar in this game. The guy almost single-handedly won the game for us.

Deke looked great too. The old man can still swat 'em.

I'm glad that we're not starting the season 0-3. Let's take are of the Queens at home tomorrow and we'll be at 500.

WE WIN! The more i watch pau gasol, the more whiny he gets. Where are all those Jizzly fans at? Rockets vs. Grizzles: 1-0

    notes:

-Mutumbo: Great offseason pickup. WHere are all those people who said he couldn't log more than 5 minutes? Had like 6 blocks and intimidated ALOT of them.

-We shot the 3 ball real well. GOt lots of 3pt shooters on our team compared to last: Tmac Ward Lue Jackson and even Nachbar. Good JOb.

-Reffing was atrocious. I haven't seen the boxscores, but I'll be the freethrow/foul ratio is as lopsided as Gasol tiny balls

-Yao, my friend, needs to get better at sealing off his defender. I applaud the team for not over forcing in because i can tell you there would be alot more TOs than there was.

-Oh yeah STOP TURNING THE BALL OVER. See bad reffing also.

-T-Mac: I doubted he could average more than 24ppg; I no longer stand by that. EVen though he took shots, he distributed, and i loved the fact he attacked the basket. 1v1, hes unstoppable.

-Yao you sucks. THis is coming from a Yao fan. See joined date.

Very happy with the win, but my blood pressure shot up like like 1000000billion percent. I applaud Dikembe again. Hahah finger wave my friend

Last stat I saw had Yao with 18 PTS and 8 RBS-- hardly call that a crummy game.

Either Memphis is the best defensive team in the NBA or that Houston offense is just plain out of sync.

You misunderstanding. I just want Yao to foul out, maybe even knock Gasol's jaw off, just to say to the refs "here foul me out!" :D

    IT'S JUST BEEN THREE GAMES

i want to see how effective any of y'all would be if y'all played basketball for about 4 years straight without breaks.

    Sweet W

T-Mac is so special. This guy is INCREDIBLE. He makes the game look soooo easy. Hands down, the best trade made this past summer.

    Other Notables
Jimmy Jackson is still a great find. And what about Dikembe? Man, that dude is a stopper. He's going to come through big time for us late in games if we need stops and Yao is in trouble. Between Deke and Yao we have two all-star centers with one coming off the bench.

Now as far as Juwan Howard goes, tonite folks is the REAL Juwan Howard. The guy we saw in Toronto was the exception to the rule. Juwan, in his Washington days, couldn't carry his team for one simple reason -- HE CANT HIT THE PULL UP 15 FOOTER. Yup. Sad but true. Add to that the fact that he's not the most intelligent b-ball player out there and that's why he looks timid and confused more often than not.

Where was Yao? He's got to add some more power to his game. At 7'6" he's got to be posterizing everybody smaller. Stromile Swift should NOT be getting the better of Yao.

    :p

T-Mac is the man. He got a lot more basketball IQ than Steve. Wow, 2 pts, 3 pts, passing... all around game. I cann't wait to see T-Mac and Yao jell soon.

Folks, give Yao some time. He is injured and needs some recovery.

Stop being too harsh on Yao.
He is made to be a role player, just let him be.
He is already a much better 1st overall pick than Brown has ever been.
    Love what you got!

    T-mac is the man!

4 freaking games in 5 days? This is just the worst beginning schedule in the NBA.

They are a very deep, long, athletic defensive team. And they have always given us trouble for two reasons.

    1) They give Yao trouble with their quick PF/Centers.
    2) They play smart basketball; not like we did last year. We gave them more chances than they deserved last year (TOs).

Yao needs to buff up on his roleplayer skills. Make a jumpshot.
