Grizzlies zoned up when TMac was torching them last year too. The Rockets need to bring as many shooters as possible into the game. Mo needs to come back. Juwan Howard's range is no good. JJ needs to play all the minutes in the 4th quarter.

He plays 30-32 mins a game at most maybe 35 if pushing it. Deke is good for about 12-15 mins a night before he becomes ineffective.

Yao's been in foul trouble... but except for the first over the back call, they've all been legit.

I'm suprised he just doesn't avoid contact... its obvious that Memphis is trying to "deke" him into getting these calls, and he's reciprocating.

I don't know if the Rockets can trade Mo now. Juwan doesn't look like a competent NBA power forward now.

In all honesty, what do you think of yao's performance? He obviously got into foul trouble, so does that make him NOT GOOD?

Pau Gasol isn't in foul trouble but they stopped going to him.
He's been stuck at 7 pts forever.
    Strange?

With Dikembe's performance tonight, Yao is going to play fewer minutes until his elbow fully heals. Dikembe is a freaking goalie now.

Deng wish I could watch the game. :(
Yao in foul trouble again - not good.
Did his fouls come from being too aggressive on offense/defense or from ticky tack fouls?
At least T-mac is having a nice game.
Jim Jackson still being his usual reliable self.
Looks like Juwan is trying to make up for his poor performance in the 1st 3 quarters :D

I'd rather see Yao play less minutes letting that arm heal. I've had those things before, and it always bothers you while you're playing cuz your arm feels like its one pull or tug away from falling off. It affects all aspects of my game, from shooting, to defense to rebounding. Its just damn annoying

Whether it be because of strength of schedule or Yao just finding his "sea" legs, Yao plays his best in the months of January- March, and tends to fizzle out in April, and May. He's still productive in those months, but just not dominant like in Jan, Feb, and March. So while I'm concerned about Yao's slow start, he'll be just fine as the season progresses. I don't really think we'll see whether this most recent summer's strength and conditioning has paid off til April where Yao grew fatigued after being dominant at the start of the new year. If he still plays like a beast in April, and hopefully into playoffs then we'll know whether his summer workouts were successful or not.
