Just checked it. Yeah, Garcia fouled out. Garcia was giving the glare. Lin pushed him to the bench, kind of laughing. Aaron Brooks was kind of smiling and he pulled Garcia back too. About 10 seconds later, McHale is still b****ing at the ref, evidently, and Lin pushes him back, then Harden is seen pulling Garcia back some more. Mostly smiles.

 

I sprayed out while drinking water with seeing this......

 

That's Lin being selfish trying to pad his SportVU stats.

Yeah, if you don't have the athleticism, you have to learn better the fundamentals...amazing athletes don't have to, but it bites them back when they're in their 30s.

Also Asik knows he doesn't know how to post up and doesn't ask the ball.

Dwight doesn't know how to post up, but he demands the ball anyway.

 

I disagree. I think we need to get him the ball closer to the basket. When we give him that space to operate he always goes baseline and puts himself in an impossible position.

 

ESPN has long highlights of Lin's game tonight.

 

hmm... well maybe if lin didn't have to run and call plays for 4 quarters it would be faster.

It's obvious that they were joking. Mchale is laughing and that push was friendly.

 

Yeah, there were less than 40 seconds left in the game, and the team was going to win. Everyone is packing up and getting ready to go home, and there's old fogey McHale still arguing fouls. Lin is just expressing what everyone else is feeling, hahaha. "Coach, why are you risking a T when we're going to win the game? Go back to the bench and sit down, old timer."

 

Isn't it sad that a forum of (apparently) grown adults have to point out that they were joking to avoid any sort of hysteria?

I'm sure it's already posted but WTH on the head chop on Lin??? Ref is standing right there and doesn't call it???? I HATE NBA refs, worst in all of sports.
