I expect good things to come, but you never underestimate the Grizzlies. They've been struggling and it's obvious, but they still manage a positive win ratio. Morey and Cuban both said that Grizz will bounce back for sure in the later half once they have their line ups figured out. So our guys especially McHale better come prepared with a plan to win.

Lets see how much better that Lin defense is against the dominant force that is Tony Allen.

 

We have Beverley to shut Conley down, unless he does a Monta Ellis on us.

 

Hasn't the 'Beverly is a shutdown defender'-rage died down yet?
He's a solid, aggressive defender. He's no Tony Allen.

I hope he can slow Conley down, and hit some shots from deep.

 

We also now have to put up with other teams wanting to beat us badly since we are a top tier team now, and we have to step up to that because its a nightly deal.

 

Beverley's defensive energy is way down playing starter minutes. Hasnt proved he can shut anyone down. Tonight is a chance for Bev to make a statement and remind us of the brilliant defender he can be. If our guards can win their matchups, i think we'll come away with the W.

 

Prediction:
Rox get 25 assist, 57 rebounds, 17 tos.
Rox 96 vs Cubs 85.

 

Haren always plays... Harden occasionally turns up

 

Hope T Jones continue to play solid. Tony Allen on Lin should be an interesting matchup. I expect to see the twin towers tonight vs memphis front line.

 

I seriously worry about our offense in this game.

Need a big one from DH or Parsons/TJ

 

With Harden and Howard.
Jeremy Lin is developing into that other big 3.

Just recently, I looked over Lin's stats. His stats are competing very well with the likes of Westbrook and Parker. His assists are below Rondo's and Curry's apg, but that is to be expected.

We are also leading in points per game. Howard is tied in number of rebounds and Harden still top 5 in ppg.

This core will be great. Only fear is when will we plateau. Hopefully it will be after we shoot for the stars. Defense? Turnovers? Will improve I hope.
