Outside questionable officiating, we didnt show any energy and intensity till the 4th quarter and we let them hang too close. This memphis team is worse than I thought. Should have been a win. Time for RA to rearrange rotation on the PG.

Yao, when were you going to figure out that Darko can only shoot by turning over his right shoulder for a jump hook.

MJ, pull up on the shot attempts, especially at clutch time

    Battier, hit a shot

Ricky put Battier at the 4 with Bonzi at the 3 - Battier can hit a free throw jumper

    Rafer - sit down

    Steve - check in

    Luther - trade bait

Two things i have been saying, you cannot allow a player like James shoot the same as Yao or Tmac.

The Alston/James two headed PG shot about 0.315 FG%...

James is avarageing .341 for the season and .367 for 3-point range you cannot have a guy like this shooting 10+ shots per game.

Alston is avarageing a terrible .300 from the field and .212 from the 3. That wont make up for his 4 assists per game.

And Head, enought, try other PG please!! He is the best of the 3 already playing avarageing .400 FG% and a terrible .100 from 3 point range.

Please put this boy Brooks in, at least he will try to pass the ball more often.

James probably had two bad shots. Most of his shots were either drive or open when Tmac or Yao was doubled. So I dont have problems with Jame's shot. Our role players simply need to play better and shoot better. Opponents are taking notes how Tmac and Yao are playing and playing them hard at times. RA's supposed offense wizardry hasnt shown much on our offense so far.

I now have to join the chorus for Steve if all your getting is no is ill advised shots at a bad clip from Rafer and James I gotta think that Steve will at least show some heart and take the ball to the rim when we can't hit a shot. Adleman has to see this, unless Steve is still absolutely hapless in practice.

It will be difficult as only Alston is having his shooting % below James.

We need Mike Bibby. That's all. Dont think SF3 is the answer.

Aside from Yao' a few shooting from high post, I don't see much difference on offense from last year. And their defense seems to be getting worse...

I don´t think we need that much, someone like Jose Calderon from the Raptors is what i´m asking for, a pass first PG that makes the shots when he is wide open and can at a times penetrate and kick it out.

agreed but Jose Calderon is too valuable to the Raps.... if we got him from the raps it would be plain highway robbery he would thrive in this system.

But the refs were horrendous and also there was barely anybody cutting i say put shane on the bench and bring bonzi into the starting line up the play last night was piss poor yao was hacked to death the fall on luther for running behind someone was bullsh*t the team did it to itself T-mac should have been on the court longer...

and to the poster who said they didnt like T-mac smiling at the end of the game... what do you expect he gets to come home and see his new daughter i would be elated also

The new Rockets will emerge when we get our NEW Point Guard. a Point Guard who will be a Playmaker!
Alston, James, Head and Francis are not Playmaker Point Guards, also they are not the sort of team leader we need. :p
When December comes Morey must be prepared to conclude that he has made mistakes and that December is a chance to make amends.

its obvious we cant have 2 non scorers on our starting lineup.....but scola has been dissapointing so far, mike james thinks hes a superstar, francis was the worst in preseason.....so we are pretty much screwed this season with a first round exit, yao and mcgrady arent shaq and kobe, I dont care who we need to move including shane, scola, bonzi, brooks and chuck.....WE NEED THAT CONSISTANT 3RD SCORER.....just imagine if we drafted brandon roy :(

I still think Scola and Wells can both develop into a 11-12 ppg without needing the ball too much but they need to play with a PG that doesn´t play as he is Kobe (AKA Mike James).

Scola is rising his game little by little as he is still learning how to fit in new rules and new a new system, and Bonzi is having some off nights but both of them suffers the same and is playing with a point guard that doesn´t make the best decisions.

Why is that no one wants to give Brooks a chance?? or I am too optimist to think that he can develop into a consistent pass first PG?

Our bench and role players were so flat in the last 2 games. Even the energy guys didnt show much energy. The shootings were not terrible but horrible. Mr. Intangibles only showed intangibles. Chuck "6 fouls" Hayes used all his quota and a bad loose ball foul when the game was tied. I almost thought the Rockets could pull this game out again. But then, from time to time, the Rockets need some wake up calls. Let's move on, another game today with HOME court against the Lakers. I hope the Rockets show up.
