You can't win 2 games in a straight where your role players contribute nothing but missed shot!!!!!

IT'S WAY PAST TIME for Steve Francis to hit the court. I am sick and tired of the lousy guard play of the Rockets and RA and his coaching staff not doing anything about it. After all this bullsh!t Francis had to deal with so far this season, I can't wait for him to prove to all the haters and especially RA of how incredibly wrong they are for not giving him a chance.

I watched the game today. It was annoying to see how Rafer missed all those wide open 3s in the 3rd quarter. He was wide open, but he just missed. What the hell, he seriously needs to improve his shooting. Mike James didn't shoot the well again. Mike James should be in the starting Lineup, trade Rafer if it is possible. He should go back and play AND1 not NBA.

Shane's 0-4 was karmic payback for that long 3 going in against the Lakers. And there's your ballgame, both nights.

    They he is streaky.

In the season opener against the Lakers he was playing in his third straight game where his shooting was sub .30 which was also his second sub .20 game. Dude has been sucky since Oct 20th.

Currently he is on his second streak where he's shooting sub .30 and it's his fourth straight game doing that.

SAS won LAL even TD had an off game with 5pts 5rbs and was blocked 4 times, their role players and bench players carried the team.
    What do we have?

have you seen the schedule for the rest of November? How the Rox do in these games will say a lot. Spurs, mavs, sunsx2, 3 back to backs. Damn right i'm gonna be judging the Rox after all that.

At least i'm better then Celtics fans and the media who are saying their team is the best ever after 6 games. LOL @ espn page comparing them to 72-10 bulls.

I agree they are definitely the #1 seed in the East(maybe 2 if Detroit gets hot and even then, they're still #1 probably)... but the 72-10 Bulls?

Anyway, like I said about the Rox. November will set a good tone for the rest of the season. I think the Rox will do well.

Not the best loss we have ever had.

There were a few things that really stood out to me.

    1. We got out rebounded. We were first or second in the league in rebounding differential. This seems to be either an effort issue or a positioning issue as even Chuck Hayes did not rebound well.
    2. We let a team shoot 50 percent from the field. A rare occurance and something we need to reticify tonight.
    3. On our team we did not get to the line. Mike James and Bonzi are relatively strong free throw shooter so either via the post up or via penetration we need to find ways to get there more often.

Sure they made more free throws then we shot but I was sort of expecting them too, they have more slashers, Lowry, Gay, Warrick, Navarro. But Pau getting 17 seems really high. Considering his previous high was 7.

All and all. We just need our other players to have better games and get something from the PG spot. Maybe it is time to at least give Steve some minutes for motivation if nothing else. Everyone has off night but we need more help with just two other players being in double figures we win.

If I remember correctly, Yao only gets two rebounds in first half. He seems not energized

We had the game thoroughly under control until Adleman decided to bench Yao & McGrady at the same time in the second quarter. Dumb decision!

Rafer sucks, rafer sucks, rafer sucks. Yes, he's the closest thing to a true pg that we have, but he still can't shoot worth a damn. He takes bad shots at bad times. Why can't adelman just tell him to run the offense and only shoot the ball if the clock is about to run out. We need to remedy the pg problem and we need to do it now. rafer sucks, james is great.....as a back up, and steve, well....I'd give him a shot to prove that he can ATTEMPT to run an offense on last time. I don't see that happening though. We need a derek fisher...

This lost is on Coach A for not knowing how to use Yao. In the bobcats game Yao turnovers cause Coach A to stress more balance in the offence. So in the Grizzly game and defense they were playing on Yao. The coach watch his balance offence in action, but the problem on this team is that only Tracy and Yao can score. There is no difference between a turnover and a brick from a scrub teammate. A real balance offence is 40% of the shoots to Tracy, 40% to Yao and 20% for the rest of the team.

If I had to put this loss squarely on the shoulders of one player, it would be Shane Battier. I don't know what is worse, the fact he was 0 for 4 or the fact he only took 4 shots in 33 minutes. He, along with Rafer, Bonzi and Mike James, made it incredibly easy for the Grizzlies to double and triple team Yao all night. Our shooters MUST keep the defense honest. They didn't do that at all last night. (never mind Bonzi isn't a shooter. He was still terrible last night)
