    worst Rafer love so far.

1: 5-8 shots for Rafer? too many. he bricked them badly. The team wanted more from Rafer, but Rafer just could not contribute too much.

2: when you are told not shoot, you sucks. use that as an excuse? suck more.

3: ridiculous logic. and 38.3% shooting is very very bad.

Darko hit some tough, or shall I say, lucky hook shots that were nearly impossible to defend. Plus, he is a left hander which causes extra problem for Yao to figure out. IMO Yao's main problem is not his defense, but his rebounding effort. He was visibly lethargic to start the game, and got out-rebounded several times in a row by Gasol and Darko early on, only to become more aggressive in the fourth quarter -- 5 out of 7 rebounds were in the 4th, including two offensive boards, but too little to late.

I may sound TOH-ish, but T-Mac really is both the hero and the goat for the Rockets. Those two missed free throws (4 in all) near the end of the 3rd were huge. The momentum unmistakably shifted in Grizz's favor going into the 4th quarter. Later in the game, after he almost single-handedly rallied Rockets to tie the game, he repeatedly ignored Yao in the pick and roll and elected to settle for his own iso plays and low percentage jumpers. Very disappointing for me to say, but T-Mac's mistakes are critical and costly, despite his offensive output.

i kinda disagree...although Wade and Duncan might not be the most "rah rah" guys you get a sense from their demeanor that they mean business............

There are no "heros" when we lose, I don't care if he topped Wilt's 100 point game...just goats this time around.

    **cue KingCheetah here**

    "Unlikely" :p

how so? duncan has the same exact facial expressions playing the bobcats in a meaningless reg. season game as when he plays in the finals. there's a reason why people keep saying he's "boring". but b/c he's surrounded by a TEAM, he wins.

wade ADMITTED himself he does not motivate players nor does he pull them out to talk to them. HE LEADS BY EXAMPLE.

that's what tmac does. that's all he can do. people lead in different ways.

kobe talks a lot and that has not gotten him anywhere sans shaq.

I see we have Four Point Guards on this team. Are they all so bad that we have to have Luther Head bringing the ball down court
For the 36th time, Luther Head is a role player who shoots the three point shot [sort of like novac] but has more to his game.

I somewhat agree, but they didnt go to the T-Mac iso on the wing in which he repeatedly beat his man. Thus, he had few angles, and on that shot he was wide open. The other jumpshot he took was open on the baseline off an inbounds pass. I do not have any problem with how T-Mac played (except his rebounding).

    why did we lose?

whenever yao doesn't get at least close to 15 shots, we lose.

he's had 12 twice in both of our losses. in all the other games, he has near 15 more more. getting the ball to yao needs to be our concentrated focus.

Role players played horrible again. Rafer is horrible as usual. But the real reason we lost this game is because Yao decided to sleep walk tonight; Darko had the game of his life against one of the top defenders at his position. This is a disgrace.

Rudy Gay is not the player I wish we had instead of Battier. Brandon Roy is his name.

I see it as Yao's fault as well...there is one time where he doesn't even bother to post up but prefer to run outside to do a pick and roll w/ Rafer?? Rafer?? You're kiddin me right?? If you're superstar and you been making consecutive baskets down low and then refuse to post up after that....that's insane.

Also Yao's defense on Milacic is bad...if you're that tall..you don't need to get up on him and challenge him like that...just relax and go for the block rather than bump and grind with him. Like the way he play against Bogut...he simply wait and just block.

Body language. He looked like he wasn't even trying, especially on defense. I think it's pretty obvious he took this game lightly, didn't looked at all focused out there on the floor like he did against SA.
