TMac has played brilliantly for the whole game until the last several possessions when he stopped attacking the basket. The key possession this game to me was the one after he tied the game. We had a chance to take the lead but his missed jump shot led to Hayes' 6th foul and Grizzlies two foul shots. They really did not have a answer for his attacking, and surely was happy he settled on outside jump shot. I really felt that if he drove to the basket or we orchestrated a stronger post play, the result of the game would've been different.

First of all, the last two or three games have stunk. Nobody except T-Mac and Yao are doing anything.

Yao did the best he could when he was getting swarmed all game by Pau and Darko, who are both seven footers. Chuck did the best he could since he gave up almost half a foot to Pau Gasol, and it's not like Gasol a chump who can't play. Scola's a rookie, I don't care how much time he played in Europe, we can't expect him to be consistent, it'll take him awhile, but I think when he gets comfortable, he'll start doing a lot better.

Battier, what's up with him? He's not a scorer, but he's got to hit something, these scoreless games are getting to me. Mike James is Mike James, he's always been streaky, he's playing the same game he always had, but at least they said he had come early before the game to practice his jump shot, I didn't hear that about Rafer who can't shoot period. Please, I don't care who comes in, PLEASE bench Rafer, he's shooting bad even for him.

Scola is a liability right now. It's turning out to be a good deal for the Spurs...for now.

The PG situation is getting to be riduclious. Let Steve though up some bricks. This is also a telling situation. Steve can't get on the court with our PGs playing this bad. How good can he be? Didn't we ask the same quesiton when VSpam was here?

This should be a wake-up call. This is the NBA so any team can beat any other on a given day.

As for Battier. boy that's a bad shoot streak he's on right now. It happens and it's hurting the team.

Hate to say it but we don't match up well with the Grizz for some reason. It's been the case for a while now.

For the last time, if Rockets didn't trade for Battier, Gay still won't be playing on the team. It was not their decision to pick Gay. So doesn't matter how well he's doing. He would never have been on the team.

Not considering shooting, Scola was the only player who looked really bad tonight. His timing is totally off, and he was killed on the defensive end by pretty much everyone he matched up against. I know he's still adjusting, but we need a lot more out of him if we're going to compete in the playoffs.

    We want Steve ; ;
O well, consider ourselves lucky for losing only by 6 compared to everyone else's performance being poor except Tmac and Yao

Luther - C. I liked when he attacked the basket. HE GOT 5 POINTS, 0 REBOUNDS, 0 ASSISTS, AND 0 STEALS IN 15 MINUTES. I WOULD BET ALL MY MONEY AND MY LEFT TESTICLE THAT STEVE FRANCIS COULD GET BETTER PRODUCTION IN THE SAME AMOUNT OF PLAYING TIME.

Add my left one to that too.

There's a reason San Antonio gave him to us for free.

Basically right now Tracy and Yao have to play pretty near perfect for the team to win. Neither of them can have an off game. This can not be the norm because it is too long of a season. The natural thing to do when someone is hot is too keep going to them. I think that is exactly what the other team wants to trap you into thinking. It happened in Dallas and again tonight. They would much rather play one on five. The odds are in their favor.

I think he was trying to make some decisions based on the perfoemance of those bench players. Let's wait and see.

You have a good point. Going to McGrady again and again worked in Utah, but it didn't work in Dallas and now tonight.

I thought Yao got lost in the offense again. The Griz were fronting/doubling, but at least we should have given it to him when the ball is behind him, and I noticed at least several good opportunities that were missed. Of course Yao wasn't helping his cause to get more touches by playing extraordinarily bad defense.

What did Rockets accomplish in last 5 years?

    Waiting....

    Waiting....

Truth bites. I feel your pain.

I am only outlining the obvious flaws.
