i definitely dont want to start a thread on this so i'm just putting it here. i was watching the bobcats game with the charlotte home announcers, and when time was winding down, the announcer said, "At this point, the rockets want to go to one man, and one man only, their POINT FORWARD tracy mcgrady. i was like NOOOOOOOOOO don't bring that up again. i have no idea where we as a board landed on that topic, but i just hated hearing those two words next to each other... i hope that kid who only talks about that does not see this or else his head might explode...

rockets better watch out for stromile swift.. he will come at us with no mercy. we need to get our bench out of their funk, especially mike james. if he tucks his right elbow in alittle more, his shot will start to fall. i would like to see luther get some time at the point, because he might be the only one that has the quickness to slow mike connelly. i think memphis can be a good, legit team. they are just finding their stride, and we might lose this game. we need a big night from yao, tmac, battier, bonzi, rafer, james, head, and scola; in order to pull this one off. lets get it done!!!!!!!!!!

 

Wow I didn't know that would be contraversial, Staoudamire is washed up and as of right now Conly isn't a)starting or b)producing. So yeah, at the end of the game it'll be a wash between whoever starts and Rafer.

Lowry was killer in the pre-season, but they're not even starting him, so their point guard situation is not clear but Rafer should play as well as whoever is starting.

...And yes I'm talking about the complete skill set not just scoring.

 

You know what blows? I live on campus at UH, right smack in the middle of Houston, and every game night I look at the TV guide and it says the Rockets will be on ch. 27 FSN, yet every single time it switches over to Dallas coverage on FSNSW. So, instead of the Rockets game, it's Dallas Stars Insider!

 

Can't you complain?? Why do they do that?? Doesn't seem right.

 

This is another "easy/must " win for the Rockets. But we always seem to play to their level (sorry teams that is)….as we did against the Bobcats. Hopefully they saw enough tape from the last game and will destroy this team tonight.

 

we have FSN Houston... so, your not getting the correct channel. i remember a few years ago we (astros) used to be on FSN Southwest, and now were on FSN houston.. get with the times man, your missing out on greatness

I think he comes up to the high post and then everyone else does their cuts. Adelman was not happy with the way they played in Charlotte, mainly because they were all standing around trying to get Yao the ball. If the pass isn't there, they aren't going to run all those things you've said. They're probably going to go to the high post offense with all the cutting.

Sure, Yao played well last game, but I don't want to have to count on him making 13 of 15 shots just for us to stay in the game. High post with cutting is the way to go if the pass isn't there. Once they start using the entire possession trying to get Yao the ball, it's going to come down to whether Yao makes the shot. I doubt he shoots 13/15 again, so no thanks to that.
