I've watched the entirety of every game except the first quarter of the Charlotte game. Don't give me this "By the STATS" crap.

What we were trotting out the first few games wasn't motion. It was "Plant Yao at the elbow to clear the lane and let McGrady jack up 35 shots!!!!!" Obviously you're happy with that, especially since McGrady was hot for the first two games. Now that we're winning with Gundyball, you're upset that McGrady is not jacking up his 35 shots. Relax, he still has way more shot attempts than Yao, even yesterday. Too bad he is not shooting as well anymore.

The Spurs and Lakers (and hell our own Rockets) have won many championships based on a strong interior presence, one (or several) strong perimeter players, and shooting from the role players. Not saying Yao = Duncan or McGrady = Kobe, but this is a formula that is known to work. Adelman's motion offense at its height with the best practitioners known failed against Kobe/Shaq.

that lakers team ON AVERAGE shot 46% as a team during their championship years. shaq NEVER take fadeaways or fallaways. kobe is never just a standstill player like tmac can be in this "stagnant" offense.

if we're playing like this, alston will continue to shoot. bonzi will continue to shoot Js. james will continue to shoot Js. basically we're gonna jack up a lot of jumpers.

and those teams consistently average over 101 pts per game. we won't even come close to that.

again, THE TRIANGLE OFFENSE => that's a motion offense. :D

Some people here are in a 'too good to be ture' mood. Every game the Rockets win just makes them more nervous.

Hope steve can play a few minutes, even if in garbage time.
Or trade two guards out for a C/PF.

Over 7000 posts and it appears you are a troll. What dedication! Have you always been a troll? Let's see you've been here since May of 2002 and Yao Ming was drafted in June of 2002. Was that the turning point for your trollism. Did you love the Rockets and then they drafted Yao when you really wanted Jason Williams and that was the catalyst for your hate? Have you hated Yao all those years?

Actually, if you read the Yao for Kobe trade thread, macalu is quite a defender of Yao. He was being sacarstic of certain people like CLbros who think that Yao should be traded because he couldn't guard Carlos Boozer :D
