Not that it matters, but if u cared about accurate statements. Jalen green was accounted for 3 turnovers, all in the fourth but the first one was 9:19 and the other two was In the final 3 mins.

So in the final 3 mins it wasn't 3 turnovers by green just 2

and both was the right play - 1 was to hit Alpi on the roll after JG was doubled coming off screen and the other was to Alpi in post with JA holding him …

Rockets guards will learn when Alpi is tired he’s not sealing no one off in the post - you either got to throw a bullet chest up or call a different play

but both of those reads were correct @DaDakota and he’s only avg 1 turnover a game the previous 10 games (get off that hill it’s no need to try and die on it)

Alpi had 8 missed FTs and 3 TOs - folks come on here and complain about JG turnovers after his 3 and layup saved us

Morant and Bane had 4 TOs each

certain folks don’t like a player so no matter how well that player does they will find one thing to try and harp on

LOL, this is a great post. I can't stop laughing.

On a serious note, you had to watch the last few mins when Udoka got so disgusted he called for an FVV iso because Jalen and Alpi were so pathetic. Fortunately, FVV delivered the goods and the Grizzlies were even more determined to choke on offense than the Rockets.

Jalen was credited with both late TOs, but on the first one, Alpi didn't seal off Ja Morant properly (maybe Jalen's pass could have been better). On the second one, it was obviously 100% Jalen.

We won a great game. Once again last night I come on here excited after a good win and Clutch fans is depressed. Whether its being in denial about how a player plays or attacking one player because youre mad that your favorite player doesnt play as good as that player on a regular basis. just pitting player vs player or attacking a player because they didnt smile enough. this board is sooo toxic and never happy. I go on the grizz redditt and they seem happier AND THEY LOST. But they arent doing the toxic things we do. their biggest gripe was a tj timeout lol I dont think this board should be called clutchfans. it should be houston rockets debate club. youre not really fans of the team youre just looking for ways to debate each other so wins and losses dont actually matter here unless it reinforces a debate you had earlier that day lol

To correct the record for anyone who didn't listen to the pod, this is almost the complete opposite of what I said. Jackson asked me what the maximum value I would give for Booker in a trade would be. I said based on star-trade precedents, the most I would go is four unprotected FRP assets. Jalen was not mentioned at all when discussing four FRPs. Similar to the Harden/Rockets/Nets trade, the concept there would be PHX wanting mostly pick assets and not players.

Later, I mentioned the possibility of Jalen, if he's not playing well enough and Booker is. However, I also noted the 6-year age gap as a mitigating factor. I then stressed that Jalen doesn't need to be in the deal at all and you could easily play Jalen and Booker together, with Jalen functioning in the "lead guard" role in much the same way that he's increasingly done over the past six weeks.

I love Jalen Green. I do not want to trade him. If you follow me on social media, you should know that I've been much higher on him than many others. With all that said, if months/years down the road it turns out that he hasn't developed to the point where he can be the "lead guard" on a championship-level team, would I explore trades? Of course, and the same holds true with literally any player on this roster. All of these trade discussions are hypotheticals based on future development (or a lack thereof). Hopefully they all develop the way we want, and no big trade is necessary. That's a big part of why I prefer to wait until at least the offseason, to give us more time to see how these guys progress.

As for your attack on me as a person, I'm happy to buy you a beer or coffee if you're in Houston, and we can talk Rockets and you can report back about how reasonable or unreasonable I am. Deal?

Lol Alpi is almost 7 foot and he was being guarded by Ja Morant. Why did Jalen throw a terrible bounce pass? Sure Alpi didn't seal but that pass wasn't gonna work ever. Throw that up.

Agreed. I said maybe Jalen could have thrown a better pass (or perhaps not thrown it at all). I think we all know Alpi often does not make himself an easy target. Morant is a paperweight!

I didn’t say it wasn’t on JG, he could of tried to goto rim for layup on the one TO… but he tried to pass it back to Alpi cutting down lane

He sometimes still decides on what he’s going to do before he sees how defense reacts
