That dunk on Yao by Swift was just embarassing for Yao. ESPN is going to put that as the #1 highlight tonight.

I put that dunk up as the most embarassing dunk on Yao to date rivaling the dunk by Kobe.

Great Dunk. But I think Yao did the right thing. If he jumped with Swift, he WILL get call for foul. Swift IS a great leaper so that's life. But that was a great dunk.

See i dotn' take it as embarsement. I mean all these other players int he pain get out of the way and let them dunk cuase they are worried about their egos.

Yao doesn't haev one and will attempt to block and play defense on everyone. So he is going to get posterized.

Yeah, but often he wil also draw fouls on plays that he has a low percentage of blocking and get posterized, which is the worst of all possible worlds.

Yao is a robot, with robot-like reaction time.

yeah that is true...like the last foul he should have just let him have the dunk. There was no way to block that and the only thing that would have happened did and that was a foul.

I don't know if it's no big deal to get dunked on in the Chinese basketball league, but getting to be the dunkee on a dunk poster is not something to be looked at fondly everywhere else.

Yao's just too slow. He didn't even realize that he got posterized until he saw Swift come down.

And he lost Stromile again on a fast break...

Just don't bring this Chinese American basketball crap. Every player especially center got dunked on and got blocked, that's the game is about. If you really worry about the image you got dunked on, maybe you shouldn't be in the game at the first place. Sure, Yao has lots of things to learn, including how to defend in the paint. But being posterized is the least thing he should worry about, winning is more important. If they can win each game, I don't care if he's dunked on 5 times every game. Talking about embarrassment, losing to Bobcats twice is embarrassing, playing like crap against a crap Nets, that's embarrassing. Dunked by Kobe, or Amare, or Swirft? No, he's late there, he will be get dunked. End of the story.

Brendan Haywood needs to come out of the stands and whack Yao on the head. Yao deems his opponents as friends and treats them with too much respect. Michael Jordan treated the opposing team as the enemy. Of course, those are two extremes with MJ and Yao. Even Shawn Bradley has more of a mean streak than Yao.

Goddamm i think JVG is probably teaching Yao how to play his own defense...why did he always seem to try to bump baller that drive at him. Just don't make contact and try to block it instead. That's why he got a charge call favoring him when one of the Grizzlies drive at him...but man he's a big fella, it looks stupid to take a charge...there is no way he can drive and do a lay up if you anticipate and block it clean instead of doing the sissy fake charge.
