During the game there is a highlight of sura and yaoming.
sura point his finger to his own head and say something to yao. it could be:"calm down, boy. use ur brain."
or "my mind is screw up . I cannot make any good decision right now."

 

I don't know how much Sura reminds people of Steve, except for lesser talent

 

I do hope they will/can build good bonding. it's very important

 

LOL! Yea, one post says how he needs to act his size and bully inside like Shaq, then another will say that the team is using him wrong and he needs to be on the high post hitting shots. Right now in his career, Yao is in a lose/lose situation when it comes to this board.

 

Not when he is dropping 40 pts and getting 10 boards.

Why yao got many fouls?
JVG"s defence system has problem to not protect Yao from dribbling.
Yao is not smart when opponents want tp make him foul,he should avoid unnessary fouls to keep the team threat to their opponent and his teamats should learn how to protect Yao falling into foul troubles.

 

Well, "Manhood" and "Male Shanghainese" should never be in the same sentense. Juat ask any Chinese outside Shanghai, they will tell this.

 

From your past posts, I respect your basketball knowledge, and I would really expect more rational and mature comments from you. But never mind, I could be totally wrong. Carry on, if that really gives some confidence by attacks like that below the belt line.

Yao will always have his physical limitations but he has to make adjustments or else we will fail. He gets down very quickly when things aren't going right which is natural but it makes the situation worse. The coaching also hasn't been able to help him out.
Hitting outside shots and jump hooks while mixing things on the inside is essential for him. He has to adapt. He can't stay paralyzed.
Urgency is needed. This is his biggest challange and JVG needs to to everything he can to help him out.

 

I've noticed TMac is getting increasingly hostile. TMac may have come to the realization that Yao is not as good as he thought he was.

What if he finds out that Yao Ming is better than he thought he was,

after Yao Ming has been traded for Rasho,
without his knowledge?!

From what i've seen it seems like he yells at Mutombo a lot...maybe he's frustrated with yao but takes it out on deke instead

 

After this game, I'm surprised that there isn't one "Trade for Swift" thread on the front page.

How do you expect a big man to drop 40 and 10 when he can't get the ball in good position? We got to change the system to incorporate both Yao and TMac. Move Yao to high post more and allow his shooting touch and passing skill to be useful. Mix it up once a while, don't just have Yao posting downlow most of the time, or have him becoming a screen setting role player. Even a man with IQ of below 40 can figure out how to defend Yao when most of the time he's just doing the same thing on offense: posting down low and waiting for a pass.

What's the point of having 2 all star when you can only using one of them? The only way for Rox to win a championship and become a good team for that matter is to have some kind of system that take advantage of both TMac and Yao's talent. When only one of them is on, it's easy to gear defense to try to stop him. It's almost impossible to shutdown both of them at the same time.

 

Truly pathetic, and honestly, you'll get games like these that make you wonder WTF????

Anyway, the dunk at the end was crap and I bet we kick there azz in our last meeting...Andre Emmitt of all people...Rook...

 

I believe Swift is an Unrestricted Free Agent this summer. I thought I read somewhere that we have the full mid-level exception to throw around. I would give him the entire exception! We need to sign him if we can afford him. He is exactly the type of young, athletic, and hard working PF we need. Lets go CD!
