He is, unfortunately. Also all his Chinese friends (except his parents that we don't know) are asking him to leave the Rockets for another team.

I misread he stats. My eyes aren't what they once were. I expect to get flogged for this mistake.

My point is that he didn't shoot bad. He didn't shoot much at all. In 24 minutes he scored 8 points. If that's what everyone expects, then I'll move on.

They have a payroll that is bigger than the Rockets, and they only have one blackhole on the payroll and that is Michael Dickerson. However, that salary is covered by insurance.

I hope they lose Swift to the Hawks next season. They might not want to go too far into luxury tax territory. They already are in luxury tax territory.

Geez, guys! Everytime in the NBA loses every once in awhile! The Rockets have been playing very good of late. Every team stumbles here and there. Memphis came out with more energy it seems to me. I'm proud of the Rockets and being a real fan find it hard to believe that so many of the people who post on here are. Just because they lose doesn't mean they suck or TMAC or YAO suck. It's not like we could go out and do any better than they do. Our players are out there trying and working hard to be a good team. How come you fans can't feel proud of that. Anyways, Go Rockets!

We need more of those "Yao should demand a trade" threads going to get Yao to talk to management how either oust JVG/Sura or skip down. Right now everybody's time is just being wasted, period!

4 TOs? Where? Would you please watch the game or at least see the box score clearly before you post here? Please.

Maybe you took Yao's block data as turn over. He had 4 blocks tonight and zero for turnover.

I have to hand it to Yao. He may get dunked on a lot, but it's because he does actually challenge the dunker.

You are a Yao-hater for sure! Because yao had 0 TO tonight !!!!!
The 4 is his block number.

Anyone except Tmac gave him the opportunity to shoot?
That's one reason I really feel sick for Bob sura.

Only two players would make extra effort pasing the ball to yao. They are MoT and Tmac. Sura, on the other hand, never looked for yao at all.

Did we learn anything from this game? Why isn't anybody talking about the play of the perimeter players tonight?

My thoughts are that is obvious from this game that this team his no offensive flow if Sura or Barrett is not on the floor. That's where I feel the major problem was and the reason we could not get back in this game.

Was anybody watching when they were out and we were running Barry at the point with Wesley? You could tell in just a few seconds that we did not have enough quickness defensively or offensively with those 2 on the floor together. TMac had to go back to handling the ball the majority of the time and it bogged down the offense. Why did Van Gundy put Barry out there against Earl Watson? We were still in the game down by about 11 or 12 when that happened and you could see the mismatch and the steal coming a mile away. Barry cannot handle the ball and bring it up as the point, it just won't work. The only way that Barry and Wesley can possibly run the backcourt together is against another aged, slow backcourt. How many of them are there in the NBA?

Van Gundy left those guys in there too long together and we broke down.

I know he's probably trying to protect and save Sura but if that's the case, you gotta come in with Barrett and run either Barrett, TMac, and either Barry or Wesley or go with Barrett, Sura, and Wesley when TMac needs a break. Barrett or Sura has to handle the ball, period.

I am tired of people complaining about Bob Sura and his lack of passing to Yao.

You guys do understand that there are angles involved in feeding the post, and it is much more efficient to do it from the wings.

Therefore Sura's JOB is to get it to a wing player and cut.

That is his JOB !! Sometimes he feeds the post, but more often than not it is from the wing, thus the reason that Sura does not pass to Yao too often.

If they ran the pick and roll with Yao and Sura you would see different results...I GUARANTEE IT !!

No wonder his game is screwed, Yao reads the advice on this board.

Man, did you watch the game? Yao is so bad at fighting for position and it is almost impossible to pass to him inside!!!
